Maybe the problem is that I am a sorc, playing however I like to play, with hydra and firewall (as it used to be good and fun for me in early seasons for pvp, which si what I enjoy) while the rest are playing rogues and barbs using icyvein meta of the metaest builds only?
Is there any balance at all in this game? Or is it me?
You are supposed to play lightning spear this season.
So it’s supposed to be the Op skill this season and the only way to play sorc in a viable way now, then? So sad.
You can play fire bolt + shatter too if you want to do high levels in the Pit.

Twisting Blades Rogue here. Even at paragon lvl 228, all glyphs 62 - 65, all new seasonal powers maxed, got all occult gems and 1 GA bis gear (not the amulet with +7 to passive ofc… more rare than mythics) T4 feels “aspirational” (i hate this word) to me.
I jump at my vicious foes, put heavy poison on my blades, make sure to always have 5 dark shroud shadows up, activate shadowCLOWN and spin like the true dancer of knives through hordes of enemies unhindered (which is awesome). Seeing 9k and 30k hits. If im lucky 1000k hits. Thats not much keeping in mind what i have to do to keep an optimal rota up 
Sooo… what are the damage numbers of a druid or necromancer at my paragon level?

See i would like to play a plain “Fury” barb. Not fury-Tornado, Fury Earethquake, Fury whatever.
Just a barb going ham with 2 axes. But even after 1.5 years i cannot do this. I mean i can, but then i can barely do Torment 1…
The (skill XY does XY%) more dmg design philosophy of the game is a horrible idea. And for matter of fact i don’T know any other ARPG using this concept to that defgree.
CAUSE IT SUKS
i play what i want and ignore the meta, and try making my own builds , the fun lasts much longer when trying my own builds, when i follow build guides im bored in 2-3 days.
shouldn’t be so low dps right? is it not yet acquire the key gears?
I think my Barb does something like 200-300 Billion per second.
I dont have the mythics yet and not the amulet with +to passives. But otherwise i have all aspects maxed and all the glyph bonus on the board.
Ok… i have some higher damage but lvl 75 pit feels like a huge damage spongue and farming T4 bosses is awful. When playing T3 with the twisted blades rogue it feels like playing a heartseeker rogue on T4 damage wise. But heartseeker still wins.
I thought S7 is the season of ultimates. When i pop up my shdowCLOWN i expect huge damage numbers like rain of arrows… but its hitting like a wet noodle. (yes. im using a max imitated imbuement aspect) corruption aspect also max… attack speed like a machine gun… its sad.
i should be prioritise to get perdition helm, as soon as getting another 60x, life will be lot easier.
Ok. I will do. But i have to say im having lots of fun playing the twisting blades rogue. Especially unhindered. I just did a pit lvl 80. Glyphs are at 70 now. And i still can temper my gear to 12/12 and every new level i pick some additional damage. 
What have you been playing for the last 2 years?

If you build is nerfed, there’s plenty other builds for the same char with some more DPS…
The build you had in S1 is not good anymore…

Well, yeah, this is what I mean. It’s like asking: can you play chess using only one pawn? Yeah, but most probably I won’t be able to do much and end up losing in a few turns compared to someone with all the pieces.
So I guess it’s not my problem.
No sir there is not.
I do, and I understand perfect balance is not possible. But a build that makes sense (every tempering and glyphs carefully calculated for hydra, firewall, burn, pyro…) yet still needs 5 min to kill a mob can’t be compared to other classes and builds that literally just walk around while everything explodes instantly. There’s imperfect balance and then there’s this ridiculous absolute disbalance.
Honestly, Blizz, I’m pretty sure I can deal alone with the balance of the whole game. For a good salary I will fix it.
