This is not a Brag thread, I just wanted to share this. I’ve seen so many struggling and I know it feels bad, so I just wanted to share how all this happened in a matter of few hours apart. I made this druid few days ago as my last character to push end game. Tonight I got Tempest Roar, The Waxing Gibous, The Greatstaff of the Crone, Temerity, The Penitent Greaves, Fists of Fate and Hunter’s Zenith, as well as one Mother ring. This was all in the span of level 69-77. I will post method below, maybe will help, maybe give someone hope. Will answer any questions if you have any.
So like I said started at level 69 and I pushed to 77 this after noon. During this push I just chained NM dungeons that was approximately my level minus 48 or 49. I know they say 51 levels is ideal but I was able to blast super fast using a regular build with no uniques that I made myself. This allowed me to just blast through these NM at insane speeds.
I killed large packs of mobs, but mostly skipped stragglers, did events, and killed all elites. I did get the Tempest Roar out of an event chest btw, everything else was just drops from elites and rewards at the end of NM dungeon.
EDIT: For those interested, this is the build I used to farm all of these items in one day going from basically 60-77 while acquiring them all. Was fun, and requires no uniques to play.

I got a tempest roar today, and running a T22 dungeon. Can’t remember which one.
The funny thing is I am not sure how I got it. It was not a end of dungeon reward, but I don’t remember seeing it drop on the ground either. It was in my inventory after returning to town and the only thing I could think of was spamming pick up from an event chest. Since I was stopping and doing them.
Yea, what I’ve found is just blasting NM dungeons super fast seems to be the best way since you get great XP and glyph XP. Gotten lot of good drops tonight doing that. Now I can stop using this regular transition build that I used that required no uniques to a Shred build that uses both Gibbous and Tempest Roar.
it’s just luck , i’ve been doing only NM dungeon from 50 to 92 and no TR .

I am happy for you. Your post is an indication that specific unique will drop but it’s a matter of LUCK. I know people are frustrated that they do not get the legendary they want to create their favorite build with maximum potential. What they do not realize is that it is no difference than playing lottery to get what they want.
Agreed. I just do NM dungeons and jump to a world boss if I see it. When a hell tide pops up ill go grab the mysteries chest real quick, but otherwise, ive gotten a bunch of uniques just plowing NM dungeons with higher level mobs than me as the vast bulk of what ive done post 70. My first gibbous did come from a world boss though.
I’ve gotten multiples of most uniques, but only one telemetry which i dont even use and i havent seen an ancestral Mad Wolf’s Glee yet, and I could use a newer waxing gibbous but, all the crones and TRs etc i could ever want.
My best choice : Stop playing until the new season starts if you are trying to get TR. I wanted to test every Build before the season and realized that I will most likely not drop it, so why waste your time? Just wait a few weeks and start with a fresh 3 month time window. I consider getting my season TR before level 100 a win. If not, I will probably stop playing and wait for S2 like I am now. Rinse and repeat.
EDIT: I am currently only doing pvp until I got all the skins and collect all the lilith statues. You keep those skins when the season starts.
I got TR tonight at level 70 out of a chest in a level 34 NM dungeon…
Its totally awesome.

Was it just one of the random grey chests or like an event chest?
I literally got my tempest roar off a goblin. Then 3 waxing gib in the span of NM Helltide NM dungeon. It’s literally RNG.
I got mine out of a chest as well, an event chest. My first drop yesterday was the Battlestaff of the Crone, then I got a couple uniques like Temerity and such. Then I got the waxing gibbous, then the Tempest Roar. Currently trying out the Gibbous and Tempest roar together. Very powerful for sure.

i got 2 at level 80 doing the hell tide.
Please share a build you’ve done it with. Thanks
I am currently 96 and all i do is NMD’s. i have yet to get a single Tempest Roar. already banking on hitting 100 without seeing the helm drop…

It’s unfortunately just blind luck. I just got a TR to drop at 89, after I had accepted that I would likely be stuck with Pulverize all the way to 100. There’s no special trick to getting it, it just drops or it doesn’t.

Spammed NM and got a mothers embrace and the frost gloves then hardly any legendary items. Heck today was on all day and not a single unique dropped at all.
Druids at 77 now and tbh I’m about ready to reroll and try again. Not many levels to go to enjoy a storm build… Least mothers embrace makes spamming pulverize easier in big pulls…
Uniques being build defining and exceedingly rare makes getting the one you don’t want feel extremely bad. All I get are penitent boots and frostburn gloves. Wtf am I supposed to do with frostburn gloves as a druid?
They need to implement a system to get a new unique by turning in several you don’t want, or even better, craft the specific one you do want. Not holding my breath for the latter though.
This is the build guide video for the build I used to clear NM dungeons and end game really fast. I basically used this to go from 60-77 in one day and got Tempest Roar, The Waxing Gibous, The Greatstaff of the Crone, Temerity, The Penitent Greaves all in the same day with it so I can attest that it works well. was easily farming content 8-10 levels above me very quickly.

Hope you like it, I really enjoyed playing it and made farming the uniques much more fun.
