How do you set your town portal location?

Right click on the waypoint on the map.

Right clicking on the map, waypoint, just creates the waypoint or removes the waypoint. How does that set your town portal? You’re supposed to be able to set your town portal anywhere within the town and not have to rely on the default location. How is that done?

Opening up your map the Right clicking a Waypoint sets it. Then whenever you hit T it brings you to that waypoint every time.

Either take some reading lessons, or get some glasses.

Your question has been answered correctly already. There is even a tooltip on the map on how to set it. Tells you in the new ‘help’ area too.

What I found was to right click on the waypoint you want to make “Favorite”. Hope that is helpful.

I should have said to right-click on the waypoint from the map.

Mouseover a waypoint on the World Map and use the button that says Favorite. On XBOX its Y.

The compass? It’s easier to find it in the accessability options.

It tells you in the tooltip that pops up when you mouse over a waypoint.

No, you’re not. That was never intimated at in any notes, campfire chats or news releases. Your portal is always going to appear next to whatever waypoint you choose.

I came here using a search engine but I am guessing people will still yell at me. This conversation is the top result when I search for “diablo 4 pressing T does not take me to my favorite location”. I set Den as my favorite location. Pressing T still takes me to the closest city.
[EDIT] The original question was how to setup the preferred town portal location, not a favorite one. It seems that they are two different things.

im having trouble removing the darn thing ,i accident market kuchik as favourite location and iv tried a few times to remove it and its not working…
