What mats do you need?

I am not sure what to do for this.

Can someone explain how this works and what I need please?

A quick google search would help you, just type in “Diablo 4 Boss Farming” then pick your poison, there’s videos, written guides, etc.

This is a forum to discuss things about the game.

I am not asking how to spawn the boss.

I want to know how the group works and what the protocol is.

I don’t want to get scammed.

When looking for “rotation” group this usually mean that everybody in the group bring mats for one pull. A full group of 4 people then have enough to do 4 pull.
All group member then trigger the boss one after the other. Never trade your mats to the leader or anybody else as this is not needed.

There is still a risk to be scammed, if someone just leave without using its mats. You should look for a discord or website that also provide some sort of reputation system. The Forbidden Trove for POE has developed a reputation system on their discord for services, and rules infringement quickly lead to ban but I don’t know if there is a discord/website with such system for D4.

Doing rotation with trustworthy people is always preferable to avoid scams.

Sorry I misunderstood, the advice above should suffice, but as they noted there is always risk involved. Also can’t stress enough never trade your mats to anyone. If the leader asks for your mats just leave the group.
