How do you change the skills on your tool bar?

Maybe I’m slow (clearly I am), but is there any way to customize the skill bar? In D3, at least you could decide where skills went on your skill bar… does d4 not have that ability to customize?

Also, when it comes to the barbarian, they make such a big deal about the class being able to have a weapon load out, but it seems that you can’t swap weapons on demand? The system decides which weapon (other than something like hammer of the ancients which requires a hammer) is best (based on I assume highest dps). But what if a weapons has a special affix that does something (health on hit) that you may want to use… are all weapon stats auto applied regardless of what weapon is used in the attack? I guess that’s possible but I’m unsure and some clarity in the tool tips would be nice.

Also, since you have weapon skill ranks, is the only way to level them by playing hundreds of hours hoping the weapons eventually skills up? Or is the only way to level a specific weapon rank by unequipping all other weapons so your attacks all use the same weapon?

One of the legendary powers an item has is “swap weapon 10x for a bonus”… how does that work? If you can’t swap weapons on demand?

You can use drag and drop to place skills in your desired/elective order.

If you press S for skills, you can then drag the skill box onto your skill bar. it allows you to use skills from items too, so you can use them to play with without having to get them on the skill tree

Interesting… where can i do that? I have tried to move things in the skill (S key to show skills)… can’t move them there… and clicking on the skill in the skill bar doesn’t do anything but cast the skill.

Click and hold and then drag skills on or off your bar then let go of click.

I’ve tied it too, and nothing seems to work, especially when I try to use the golem

With a controller, In the Skills Window you can toggle to Skill Assignment with Left Click. For Socerers and Barbarians after you Assign the skill there is another toggle for Enchantment/Specialization.
