most full price game is unlimited stash space. D4 stash the most special and limited game design in the market.

Stash tabs are restricted in Diablo due to the game reading each player’s stash as you see them. Most games don’t work this way.
I suspect it created this way either to make it easier for trading or maybe anti duping. Just a programming concept gone wrong and Blizzard has been evasive in this topic although they promised to fix them.
