How are the new Pit bosses?

Did they adjust Pit boss difficulty in this patch? I saw something that said they were supposed to make it so they would only cast one shadow boss effect at a time. Has anyone tried it yet, and if so how is it?

the moment i am done downloading 3 gig with 14kb/s i will tell you about pit bosses.

They are much easier to survive and avoid the shadow boss effects. So that is good. But as far as I can tell, the health is the same. So it still takes just as long to take them down.

I personally would prefer less length in the fight and more difficulty. A happy median between where they were and where they are now. But, maybe just need to adjust and lean more into dps and less in defense. Not sure. Gotta play around with it.

It was nice to not feel like I wasted 15 min to a stressul and long fight that ends with me dying, desperately trying to dodge shadow boss effects, and having the boss down to less than 5% life.

The change feels like that situation will be much less frequent, so I can appreciate that. But I wouldnt mind a challenging fight that I don’t have to spend 7 min surviving.

That sounds about like what they promised. I stopped pushing because I just got tired of practically unavoidable one shots when 3 shadow bosses cover the screen with damage effects. I’ll see how far I can go in the Pit with this change.

Seemed to do less damage but it’s still boring sitting there kitten scratching away at their huge health pools.

Leveling is fun then you get to 100 and you get to kitten scratch at huge pit boss health pools.

Well these bosses are definitely more in line with the difficulty of the Pit dungeon. I’ll be able to push higher for sure. Nice change by Blizz.

I didnt realize that todays update had the pit boss changes. Cool.

Well you wont die instantly from one shots but instead die from boredom as the HP on the bosses is the same so it takes forever to kill them if your not a super high dps build.

Cant be 1 shot anymore, so back to boring stick man fights where hold on the damage button and eyes off on side screen watching netflix.

Now the problem is return of Neathiron is halved post tier 101. They need to change it to match +1 stone per tier ups. Right now, incentives past 101 is low other than pushing.

No more 1 shot is fine, just buff boss damage more to not able to tank anything by standing still. Physical dodging is part of ARPG game.

Well I’m not playing barbarian so I can’t just sit there and tank it all. My wind shear Druid has to move a lot anyway to stay out of melee range for damage vs distant bonus. While the Pit design may still need some work, I feel like this boss change is an improvement.

I am referring to my non meta claw druid who is miles behind other OP builds.
