Hello. How are necromancers in pvp 50+? What build is good to use on foh vs other players?

With Necro mobility? I wouldn’t even begin to try PvP lol.

I went to the fields of hatred to get whispers done, a barb rolled up to me, PK’ed me without losing as much as 5% of his HP to my ult and all minions, BMed me and continued rolling away. “Nerfed to death” btw.

The class is just trash

this game is garbage for pvp, and necromancer is garbage at pvp. Double trouble do not reccomend. If you insist on it tho probably a shadowmancer build with barrier bone storm to take advantage of the pvp damage over time buff, maybe double curse for the +40% dmg legendary, bone storm barrier, blight, you’re kind of in a losing battle tho regardless, necro isn’t known for its unbreakable/immune

No idea why anyone would want to PvP in an ARPG, but just go thorn with the thornmail unique (or whatever the name) and a shield then watch as every ice shard sorcs kill themselves.

If Lost Ark taught me anything, it’s that it’s fun to do from time to time (coming from someone who strictly PvP’s endgame in any MMO I play) but if it’s your main focus you are likely to feel disappointed and unrewarded.

For mogs! :smiley: Also maybe just to see if class have some chance vs other classes, going there makes some kill gives some kind of fulfillment, its like: “cool my class can do this”,
its not like ultimate goal but just nice addition to a gameplay.
But sounds like fulfillment in case of necro will be harder than on sorc xD

There is no balance at all before i start using any skill i get 1 tapped by barbarian druid and sorc and rogue 1 tapped with right click no comment…

if you want to pvp play sorc or barb who can one shot people. dev has stated they wont balance the game for pvp and it will be un balanced as diablo 4 is not a pvp geared game.

No necro build atm can compete against any semi competent barb, sorc, or rogue in pvp. Necro lacks the toolset to be viable in pvp.

My Minion Necro was clapping people. Sure it lacks a bit of mobility but If they get caught in the golem stun they usually get 1 shot by the minion damage. Cold Mages are no joke.

im pretty much immortal but i cant chase anyone cuz of lack of mobility. if someone does try to jump they most likely cant kill me and realize i do way too much cc and dmg and they have to run

I know that PvP is not main thing in game, its a small addition.
Thing is when 4/5 classes can do PvP just fine and one class is just a sitting duck then it feels that something went wrong.
Necro is slowest class ok, then he should have some sustain and/or damage, thorns instead.

Its fine. Better to be immortal than to be a free kill. Teach me, how to be immortal necro? :smiley:

Super fun as Sever build. I’ve collected the three lower 40K blood shard mount bardings. The mobs in the pvp zone, particularly the northern one aren’t especially tough so they are easy to farm with mostly just blighted corpse explosion so that way in case I get ganked I have full resources.
Weak mobs come to attack you in waves as you are turning the dust to shards so just stockpile corpses in case anyone comes to try and stop you. I hit them with Corpse Tendrils, then hit Bonestorm and Blood Mist and kit around them around and usually can stay alive until I have already finished the shard process. So far Druids are the most annoying to deal with. All the other classes have potential to be dangerous too but not as bad. I thought lack of mobility would be awful but meh. It isn’t as bad as I thought.
Got my first ear last night. Felt good.

True, mobs there are super easy to kill, even “walking boss”.
Problem are the players, there is nothing to do as necro vs them.
On 50+ Corpse Tendrils, Bonestorm, Blood Mist it gives abit time, thats true but it will go off quick and necro will drop dead.
I was thinking that maybe there is some build that will make necro stronger in pvp, even if enemy will run away because he cant kill necro it still will be win for me.
So far I was only enable to kill another necro xD

No. No mobility skill. And only 1 cc break which prevents you from doing meaningful damage.
Dont bother. Play another class for pvp

That’s very disappointing :c I wasted week on 62lvl necro.
I dont want to play defective class, even if looks so damn cool…
In this case I will switch to sorc :cry:

Odds are they’ll fix it. Considering this is Blizzard we’re talking about, their fix will either render it completely helpless or bust it to the point of absurdity.
