Lucky hit chance was just the attribute swap I wanted for +4 to bless shield. Seriously.
Sanctifying your item has the chance to:
- Apply a bonus Legendary power
- Improve an Affix into a Greater Affix
- Add a bonus Affix from a pool of special Sanctification affixes
- Replace an existing Affix with a random Sanctification affix
- Add a random amount (5-25) of bonus Quality
Sanctifying your item makes it unmodifiable, ending that item’s journey. This should be the last upgrade you make to your item. The possible Sanctification values now have a tighter range, skewing towards higher values. Generic Offensive Legendary Aspects have been added to the Sanctification pool. In a stroke of divine intervention, mythical powers may even take root on your item…
Although I do agree, it should list this in the game as well at the forge. Also to clarify, as it was stated in the patch notes, it WILL NOT replace an affix on an Ancestral Unique or Mythic item. It can on just about every other item though.
- Affixes on Ancestral Unique or Mythic Items can no longer be replaced.
There was a PTR and the biggest thing that flooded for forums was that sanctification was going to brick everything. They also did a live stream where they talked about wanting to add a little risk to it.
There was ample warning you just weren’t paying attention.
Must be a bug then as a lot of people are reporting uniques and mythics getting their affixes replaced with items from the sanctification pool (not their aspects though).
Definitely a bug if it’s replacing affixes on mythics and ancestral uniques. That is horrible honestly.
it would have been super cool if you had an aspect of x (100) and you santified it and the aspect became X2 (150) and you were able to extract that aspect and apply that back to your codex so you can apply that 150 to other gears!
Yeah, it can happen, its still very low chances, based on personal experience/feedback of others =)
Items still usable, you just didn’t get what you wanted
