I love how they constantly are needing characters but the one skill on a character that is way too OP never gets touched. HOTA barbs take the least amount of skill to play and can smash the ground and 1 shot anything. I know people are going to say PvP isn’t supposed to be balanced but when 1 barb can kill 5 people in 1 shot it’s a bit much. I can kill them after their cooldown window hits but that a shot timeframe compared to Rogues cooldowns. The only fun thing to do after the campaign is to PvP and barbs make it very annoying.
For those who say “just make a barb”, no the character sucks it’s slow and boring and is only good at PvP because of one over powered mechanic.
Yep, PVP was said to never been balanced, check.
Diablo has never had balanced PVP, check.
Barbs lack available builds, check.

Honestly tho compare top builds of all classes barbs are in last place easy atm, just don’t nerf my new class druid lol
Bro, only thing that barb got is a freaking HOTA. yes barb got a ww 100 clear yes barb got a 100 hota clear, both builds seriously MISERABLE to play @high tier, only recently thorns build is good but its also miserable to play. (im not even gonna arque or talk about double swing)
Honestly Barb is just killed by blizzard, nerf after nerf, i manage to do 100nm solo today but i did breathe out of my lower body parts during the dungeon.
I’m so sorry for you but you have to find another way or place to cry, we as barbs are already crying for many things, and honestly PVP in diablo was never a thing, so many things are happening in game, so many holes to fill but this one is not going to be one of the holes, get your man pants on and figure it out.
ps: i hope you get one shot everytime in pvp by a barb <3

barb walking armory sucks, weapon master build sucks, thorns build sucks, bleed build sucks, so they can only ww and hota. maybe before nerfing, fix the class because it’s a disaster.
lol did you say PvP was never a thing in Diablo? You must be a D3 player. D2 was huge in PvP. Lol I kill barbs often but the fact you have to chase them down in between skills gets old then they can turn around and 1 shot ppl is a bit much. Also a Forum by definition is a place to speak your concerns smart guy.
I agree that pvp could be a lot better, but i honestly think you’ve never encountered a good rogue or a bulwark druid if you think hota is the pinnacle of pvp in this game.

Yeah why not, let’s nerf the only viable skill a class has just because you suck against them in an irrelevant game mode. Makes total sense. You know what? just let’s delete the barb class all at once and that’s it. The thing is that, once it happens, I bet your next post will be: “nerf -randomclassname-”.
I’m not bad I’ll say that I have hundreds of kills probably 100+ kills of barb only. I’m just saying the move is annoyingly overpowered. Too think every class with anything good gets a nerf on a hotfix.
shields used properly on a 3 player team can chain in such a way you can’t do damage for 27 seconds. i’m not sure how hota is the problem. Hota barb only deadly for 6 seconds.
They said on twitter they are looking into it. I hit them for 500 damage, they 1shot me through shield. Not a good design and makes PVP boring. PVP is one of the few things you can do once you clear all the content and hit 100. I hope they take it more seriously, doesn’t have to be perfectly balanced, but it needs to at least make it somewhat fair.

Considering how build variety (in my opinion) SERIOUSLY needs to be improved, every thread calling for the few great builds to be nerfed is SERIOUSLY annoying to me. No. Everything else needs to be buffed.

I’m not sure what is Blizzard’s point with the barbarian, the class that is supposed to be the hardest to build resource, then give it plenty of items and passives so they can easily get maximum resource at all time, even when it costs twice the amount of fury with the keystone passive.
