The tomes have completely stopped dropping for me. I have done easily at least 100 strongrooms if not more.
I did have 7 tomes drop for me only from the first few strongrooms and since then I have had not a single further drop. Not a single tome. I’ve completed my rep track for the season and have claimed all the rewards. I’ve been doing them in T2 as well. I’m at paragon 150+ and have done many strongrooms both in normal and in escalating nightmare dungeons.
I have tried both in and out of party play too but to no avail. Seems like the extra time I sunk into trying to get these tomes was a waste and really puts me off coming back when I am unable to interact with one of the seasonal mechanics.
I have seen only a few people mentioning this around online so it doesn’t seem like its on blizzards radar at all which really shoots down my ability to continue playing this season.

Up, still no tome dropping… It’s the seasonnal theme, please correct it ! What’s the point to play seasonnal if seasnnal stuff is not working ? I don’t care about balance build if I can’t play even one build with seasonnal jewels…

Seems like they didn’t adress this bug on the newest patch. the rollback is another gimmick i really like… this season blizzard has outperformed itself…

Same for me. Not one tome has dropped since I got the first one from the quest reward. I’m level P130. I came here thinking my character is bugged and see others have the same problem.

P222 my tomes stopped dropping after I got 2 of the same tomes out of 1 chest. Current have 4 patterns 1 of them being the starter jewel

Blizzard fix the Tomes! I havent gotten a single one except the questline one. Freaking annoying!

I have not seen a single tome drop. I got one gem to drop when teamed with someone else. I am paragon 225. Have completed the entire board and every season mission. I have tried storerooms at various torment levels. I have completed all the season, reliquaries and have yet to see a tome other then the one given from the board. I am playing d4 via Steam.

I have a suspicion. Do you guys created another toon that doesn’t have the season quest finished? I dropped all the arcana stuff, then started playing another alt with a friend that didnt have the main quest and season quest done and from then on i didnt get any horadric loot anymore. I got the first horadric jewel recipe and no other since then.

Mine stopped working on my first character after i got 3 patterns. seemingly after i got 2 of the same pattern from one chest. Ive tried making new characters and they all are stuck with the same issue.

Nope it was my 1st and only toon this season at the time and randomly stopped getting tome drops, the fact its still been radio silence from blizzard is unbelievable. Not to mention the MASSIVE performance issues this season too, but I’m so glad they have their priorities in order and fixed the bug where the butcher wasn’t dropping items…

Maybe only 1k Players have this issue. Number to low to fix it in time, so the rest of the playerbase has a playable season. Who needs 1k players 
What’s most annoying is that nobody says anything about this problem…
One post like “Hey, we noticed the Problem and been working on a fix”, but nothing…

I have the same problem. 226lvl. All seasonal prizes claimed and can’t drop single horadric tome to craft horadric jewels.
okay, I just finished the season with my 3rd character and the hardcore character, so all 4 have finished the season now and suddenly in the first strongroom i get recipe drops on my main!

Still no info or update from Blizzard that I’ve seen, tried to reach out to support too. What a mistake that was. This was the verbatim response i got from them in regards to THEIR game being broken:
“Since you’ve exhausted the steps available through customer support, the next best course is to seek assistance from the broader community through forums, consult with a local tech expert”
The exhausted steps from support being one person pressed a macro and sent out a templated reply to verify game cache and the like. Really glad no one at blizzard seems to care or have any process in place to escalate a support ticket when the product you have purchased does not work.

Had this issue for the longest time until tonight. Saw someone in another thread, which I can’t find anymore, mention they started getting drops again after unlocking tome drops in hardcore for the season. I unlocked the book and used it on my HC and sure enough they are dropping for my regular character now.
Hopefully they fix this though… Having to lvl HC and get enough strong rooms done to unlock the tomes is a pain and we shouldn’t need weird workarounds.
