Didn’t see this yesterday, but today, doing NMD for obelite, now I see the popup explaining the portals, and a portal shows up. I can complete the first area, but taking the portal again takes me back to the NMD. Weird.
The Horadric Strongroom is a permanent feature, and only features the one room.

There’s onlu a chance your nmd will have a strongroom, unless your sigil guarantees one. It’s also probably easier to miss them in eternal, since you don’t get the wayfinder.
