Go to Arreat Summit and look at the list of things you can do with the Horadric cube. Click on crafting see all the other things that can be done. Collect gems to craft gear , upgrade runes , make cow lvl , reroll charms, to name a few. That cube has more game in it than Diablo 4

yep crafting gloves and belts and jewelry from scratch in d2 was more fun than the whole boring affix system here

OP you are correct. I can’t believe D4 has next to nothing in terms of crafting. Really missed the mark. I’m sure it’ll be in some season most of us won’t play.

a diablo game without the Horadric Cube feel so wrong anyway this game have no crafting a cube with no recipe like a say before the game is 50% done
Cube didn’t get put in until later on in D3s life. I do agree they did drop the ball on the good aspects of D3 and the QoL improvements they made, though.
Cube is also acts like a really effective loot recycler in a playthrough.

d2 has +20 years of development while d4 launched a month ago. did you ever played d2 at launch? it was awful as hell
Yes I played on my E-Machine computer. We all wanted Iron Jang Bon* staff , Silks armor and Soj. It’s not D2 has 20 years of development. Diablo franchise has 30 years of development and they threw the baby out with the bath water.
