1 - Is it meant to be soloable as well? (granted the OP class of the season will do it regardless).
2 - Is it going to be show up at point X at time Y and you are in a group (legions/wb). Or is going to be a preformed groups (NMD, Bosses)
3 - Is it basically required content? As in can a solo player progress just as far and skip this content.
Personally as a SSF(ish) player I have zero interest in this new content if it’s not soloable and requires that I preform groups. As a result I am holding off pre-purchasing until more information is released.
Generally all content that can progress your game can be completed solo. That’s the intention and unless they’ve changed that, that’s how it’ll be.
The co-op dungeon might just get you more loot at the end, or a more difficult challenge that requires teamwork, or it might be to show case what the new class brings.
Either way, barbs and sorcs will solo it, and everyone ‘should’ be able to solo it, but it might just be hard.
I imagine it’ll be a level 200 boss type difficulty, but a whole dungeon.
Don’t care for group play at all, if D4 had a SSF mode i’d play that, as I have in D3 the last couple of seasons.
So I don’t want something to be added that’s basically inaccessible to me. As long as it doesn’t give you stuff that you can’t get elsewhere, i’m ok with it though.

If they cant be soloed, that would be an insane design decision, and a dealbreaker imo.
Add some NPC helpers if needed.
While the rewards matter, making them not offer any rewards, or more rewards, than other content, would not be enough.
The content itself is what matters. Game is severely lacking some challenging content, and this might be it.
I wouldn’t mind if you could choose 3 of the mercs to join you and do it “solo”.
Always confused me why you could have a party of 4, but only 1 follower when solo.
Creating a wall of unplayable content for solo players is a huge mistake!!! The very spirit of all Diablo games has been solo play. I will not buy the expansion unless they make the Dark Citadel accessible to solo players.
