Honest feedback

I am in that lull between T3 and T4 where I am just bored out of my mind running Pits to improve my glyphs to a point where I can push T4 comfortably. And it shouldn’t feel this @#$% manufactured. This is beyond a doubt the worst point in the game. And it is way too long for non-broken builds.

Broken builds should be fixed…and if you play them, nobody cares about your input, on this matter, But for the builds that need to work and use their brains to achieve things, you probably want to address how long this “lull” lasts. it should feel more natural rather than “oh well now I need to do this @#$% again”.

The rest felt much better and natural up to this point.

I found getting from T1 - T4 super ez. Leveling paragons was a pain in the buttox until I realized bloodied infernal horde compasses were the path for paragon XP. No need to grind above what are ez torment level runs. Killing the relentless butcher when he pops seems to be the best xp in those zones.

Get paragon level up a bunch, then plow through glyphs real easy by being able to tackle higher tier pits for +2 or +3 for each point at the end.

VOH was gifted to me a while back you need to subscribe and follow :stuck_out_tongue:

how fortunate . it enabled you to play a game you never liked

yup, same applies to me as well, running the the pit even just the second time into the season is already boring as f#$%. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

You dont need max level glyphs For comfortable T4 man . I really dont know why players has such problém with this . I Always doing glyps Till 46 And then skip IT .just maxing gear And level up . After all Is done i can do high PiTS And level glyphs Fast And Done.

Yes the progression to 45-46 is not natural, and feels forced and makes this lull feel enlongated.

I am at lvl 35 glyphs currently and this segment started while I was at lvl 15-16 glyphs (That is what I entered t3 with).

There is no point in me doing anything but running pits to improve my glyph level, as everything else is where it needs to be as a baseline for me to push T4.

And this is the inherent problem where it becomes a chore. If active glyphs had some passive leveling while you do other things that would be a way to alleviate this. But as it is today everyone hits this point, where they have nothing to do “but repetitively run pits” (again only for non-broken builds, as broken builds this really won’t matter)

No one is talking about max level glyphs here.

There is a 3 part formula here.
Paragon points
Glyph Levels
MW ing.

Yes you need all your aspects and ancestral gear…but that is a given.

but you can give and take on the 3 parts to get all the way to T3 and up to T4 but at some point you will need to catch up on where you are short.

I gave up on my Fire Bolt Sorc just after unlocking T4 and have been playing Shred druid since. Broken builds are the standard in this game and your experience gets quickly miserable if you do avoid them.

Levelling Glyphs is easy and fast when you can clear Pits 20 or 30 tiers above your Glyph level. When you have to struggle for each point you earn, it is a terrible chore.

I only managed to Masterwork 2 items. I believe most of the Obducite came from caches. Doing NMDs doesn’t give any. I tried a couple of Strongrooms and Hordes but if you don’t play a build able to blast everything you end up with a miserable amount even from those activities. I spare the little amount of Obducite for really valuable items which I don’t really have yet which complicates even more progression.

I am sure you can play Fire Bolt in T4 or just any other build but you do it once you have farmed everything the build needs otherwise the experience is miserable because everything in the game is designed to push players to play meta.

One of the problems with this game is every is so directed and nothing is a surprise. I mean, would the World end if someone got a Mythic and could equip it in Penitent? Or if when leveling a glyph you found you suddenly got 12 level instead of just one or none?

Imagine finding weapons and garment we did not know they have been implemented.

If somebody would wake me up at night, slapping me with a rubber hedgehog i would always be able to name every unique and mythic item thats in the game.

Yes. There are no surprises and i dont like this.

But maybe im wrong and we will find lots nice new unique and mythic weapons looking and performing good.

Chances are… 0.0000000000000000000000000000001%… optimistically

The audience in d4 is very diverse. The community is divided in many ways. For me, that’s the best part where I get into T4 and everything is still a challenge, I drink potions and have to run away from some elites.

Climbing from T3 to T4 is extremely fast. I ignored the glyphs and got all the legendary ones. They are super powerful with x100 multipliers. Note that I’m building Fury of Heaven, which is a very weak build, far from the meta.

If you have all ancestral gear with right GA,aspects ,all uniques .paragon. ať least 200 to collect all legendary nodes from paragon ,then T4 must be easy to farm ,even when you doing with low glyphs And some B tier build .if not something has to be Wrong with build

Jsut compare the devtalks of d4 to that of other arpgs or games in generall.

In the other games they are allways cheering and laughing, proud of what they do, totaly enthusiastic to show us the new stuff.

The last campfires i witnessed in d4 looked like… people realising they are actualy not working on the greatest arpg of all time.

Yeah I notcied they changed this from the past. I think where I find them the most is strongroom versions of NMD keys. So I just keep generating keys till I get yellows and orange ones. The rest I melt.
I still find obducite in IH. But nowhere near what the rates used to be before at this tier.

:hamster:  in search for obducite… thats very suspicious.
Maybe to build [The Biggest Popcorn Bucket Of The World]

I played for a bit this season but had this nagging feeling that the game felt… cheap. Couldn’t play more after that point so I stopped. Played like 5-6 hours in total I think.

I will be checking S13 for sure, like everyone else. My hope is to get to experience at least some of the new systems before I eventually get bored and quit.
