Hoarding legendaries, what to do with them?

I just hit WT3 and realized that basically all the legendaries I had been hoarding are effectively useless with the advent of sacred gear.

I don’t know that I care about extracting all the legendary powers from them because a lot of them seem useless, so is there a way to salvage legendaries for mats?

It will cost Gold but apply them to junk rares and Salvage them at the blacksmith. Search carefully though, might be some Aspects you can extract and save for later.

I don’t think your suggestion applies. I have pretty much all the legendary gear I’ve ever found in my stash, and I’d like to get rid of it if at all possible. Is selling or extracting the only way? Or can I salvage legendary drops somewhere for mats like you can in D3?

You can salvage legendary gear the same way you salvage rares. Just click the hammer at the blacksmith in the Salvage window, then click the legendary.

OH, you mean hoarding actual gear, not the Aspects. Sort through it for any Aspect that might be useful, then sell or salvage it at the Blacksmith for upgrade items.

Somehow it never occurred to me to try that yet. I just click on “All items” at the blacksmith and everything gets salvaged minus legendaries, so I assumed legendaries were “special” somehow.

And most if not all the sacred you’ve been hoarding will be useless, once you hit WT4.
