WTF blizzard, just…wtf. I get making us do some renown again for season but doing it all over again on a new character? F that. Did uber lillith, t100 nightmares, lvl 100 char, full perfect gear. I went from…“well i’ll try a sorc again now that they patched it” to “nope, F this game, i’m finished” in about 30 seconds on the new character. Renown should be for ALL characters…finish it on one, it is finished on all in that realm. Or, ideally finished forever because renown is garbage after doing it once.

Huh? are you saying new seasonal character doesnt get renown done on your first seasonal character? if so defo report that in support or on their twitters cause that has to be a bug.
no…i’m saying i remaxed renown on seasonal…all those f’n boring sidequests, stupid side dungeons etc on my first 100 seasonal and they expect me to do it again when I make a new seasonal character. That’s a hard F no from me. already uninstalled, and I doubt devs read these forums but that needs to be hotfixed immediately if they even want to begin to claim they want players to try new characters and builds. No sane person would want to redo renown every time they roll a new character. Doing it again for a season makes sense…for every character is just plain idiotic.
No thats a bold face lie. next season you will have to do the same amount of renown we did this season which is 3,4 and 5 of the renown system.

You see the bottom rewards yeah thats the good stuff. if you’re crying about having to redo renown for the pitiful amount of gold… There is something horribly wrong.
you have bad reading comprehension eh? renown should be maxed, period, after doing it once in a season. Doesn’t matter if it is gold or exp or paragon or skillpoints. That is just plain awful design. Sure. you didnt say that you were talking about character. not having renown that you got from your season 100 character.
We get it. you need those paragon points right at level 1, you need those obel capacity right off the bat. you dont need to run nmd that will give you renown, you dont need to do all the seasonal conquests that lead you into most of the renown. You’re gonna sit in one non nmd and run it forever.

Yor renown is finished. you get all the bonuses from having it complete but you can still complete it for the xp. Your new character should have started with the 10 skill points and when you hit 50 you will have all the points for your Paragon. completing the renown again simply gives you the xp.

yet another person with bad reading comprehension. I DON’T CARE if it is just gold or exp, it should be done for all characters and waiting to be claimed. period. end of discussion. Renown is a crap system to begin with and should be finished forever after doing it once…i can MAYBE see making us do it every season but absolutely not on every character.

And thats what they do… EVERY SEASON YOU HAVE 3 to do in each zone. thats it. only on one character. each character on that season that you make after that first character has the renown you did on first.
Lmao its like pocket change and less xp than doing one NM dungeon. You shouldn’t even be concerned about it. You get the only thing worth doing the renown for. I can read just fine. I just don’t see why your crying over something so pitiful.

I started playing a sorceress I do not like her. Created a Druid and now I have to do renown again. I did first 4 ranks of renown on sorceress, but now I don’t want to play her.
Created druid renown is rank 2 with 210 renown. So now I’m forced to either do it all over again on druid or to play character I don’t want to play to play anymore and finish it there.
Not even waypoints are shared so I cannot just spam dungeons.
You… do see where its redded out on the bottoms though,. right? with check marks?

If not than something is wrong, if so… its working as intended. you’re getting the major bonuses of the renown, and if you think you need to do it for the bonus xp and gold… well… idk. You dont tho.
I see that there are 5 check marks. I only have 4 check marks. Thats the problem. If I want to have 5 check marks I have to play sorceress not druid.
Hmm… that is weird, verify that you have all 5 on the first seasonal character (make sure you’re looking at same zones), make a new character and see if its done, if not report it via a ticket at Blizzard Support Taking screen shots to show them would be wise too.
Because it most definitely is a bug. That pic i showed you was a new character done after my druid finished off. all my alt characters (3 bank chars which was made before i even did the 5th renown on druid) have the same renown done as well.
Can you use more caps next time so we can really get a better feel for your kid rage?

I do not have all 5 on my first seasonal character. Thats the point I only have 4. So if I want to play another character that character is going to have only 4 check marks.
And if I want to have 5 check marks I HAVE TO play the first seasonal character and finish the renown. (I don’t want to play that character)
If you dont have the 5 checkmarks… you can continue them on your second character… cause it has the same amount as first… it will have the same XP as the first. say you dont have 5th one done. but it has say 10 xp. you go do a renown dungeon it will have 50xp on it. and so will your first character.
If this isnt the case… REFER to SUPPORT TICKET statement.
