I believe crossplay is causing high latency spikes of 300ms to 1470ms on PC, since the expansion started the high latency problem on PC has been constant and frustrating.
If you disabled it, did you see a huge difference?
If I disabled it and left the clan, I thought it might be a region issue, but the problem persists, now I’m trying to play leaving aside the season and I think the problem is with the servers, it’s not for everyone.
Or……your internet is
?
I’m sry I had to it’s right there
… I’ll see myself out
There is alot of issues with latency because all the servers are in California US. There are no more regional servers like WoW. You will get people on the same server from different regions because its based on load capacity not actual ping rate.
World of Warcraft, Diablo 2, Diablo 3, connects from 30 to 90ms, Diablo 4 connected at 80ms, the problem is in the Expansion.
Diablo 4 does not have regional servers. They are all in one location. Its why you get people from EU with people from China and see their spam in chat. Its based on load capacity not region.
Do you have the fix for this issue?
In a large portion of people the network switch at hop two-three is the culprit.
Search up the diablo 4 server IP addresses, traceroute command and then input the d4 ip.
This isn’t going to give you ALL the info required to deduce what i have, but its very insightful and can help Eliminate suspicions.
