Add MORE Butcher-like encounters, imo.

They have an entire host of IP to pull from

  • Bloodraven
  • Hephatsto
  • Gharbad the Weak
  • Gharbad the Strong
  • Leoric
  • Wirt (and his leg)
  • Tremain
  • Charsi
  • Icehawk Riftwing
  • 3-Goblin Totem (in a trenchcoat)

Butcher is fun tho they need to add more rare cosmetics to him.

The butcher is hands down my favorite boss in the game. T100 butcher is one of the first gear check milestones for me. As much as the new event was a bit lackluster the inclusion of the butcher in it was fantastic.

Disagree. They need to add more random events like butcher and goblins. Like a bunch of them and then make them happen more often.

They need to let butcher perform a fatality and then spawn camp you and your corpse so you have to run to town naked and beg others to help you

Not only is he not going away, but youā€™re going to be dropping in on him in hell next season.

Until then they need to buff him up tremendously. It should bring fear to the player to hear those words! FRESH MEAT!

The game should add a bunch more bosses like Butcher.

The butcher is scaled to the NMD level, so for those that find it too easy, tough luck, just speed run trough , level your glyphs and get on with it.
Thereā€™s no need to buff it, he already is slightly tougher than the Boss.

As for those that want it gone, you simply can run away and ignore itā€¦ You arenā€™t trapped in a ring with him.
Random encounters like these really spice up the game, we definitely need more varieties.
He does drop your typical Boss loot on top of random cosmetics once in a while.

I wish they would add the d3 playstation nemsis system to the butcher in d4.

Basically if he kills you, he can spawn in on anyone in your friends list and if they kill it, you get a legendary item that is nearly perfect (almost like a primal). If the butcher kills your fiend, he gets stronger and if someone kills him you get 2 items each and if he kills more people on your friends list he gets harder and harder all the way to x10 power (if you kill him at x10 power - you guessed it, he drops 10 items for all of the people he killed). its kinda fun

I re-read this like 5 times because I thought I must be reading it wrong. My brain couldnā€™t comprehend the idea that anyone would find the Butcher takes too long to kill. Heā€™s often dead before I can even find him! I hear ā€œFRESH MEATā€, panic (hardcore char), and then see his corpse melting or whatever all in the course of five seconds.

The Butcher is probably my favorite part of Diablo 4 and if I quit today heā€™d be what makes me smile the most, looking back. They should make him more challenging and add many, many, many more ā€˜unexpectedā€™ encounters that happen once every four dungeons or so.

We need The Butcher in the pit as well and as a Uber boss at lvl200.
