I am lvl 100 and I don’t even have the lvl 80 Health Potion yet…so close… to it.
So why don’t we remove one of the Fields of Hatred, because no one who doesn’t have a RL bully issue is playing that mode anyway
and make it a Fields of Flowers. And in there, you can put all the nonsense herbs and flowers in the game so adventurers can pick them as needed. If you don’t want to make it super easy put Butcher in there also or those new hunting elites that spawn in Blood Harvest.
Currently going to an Herbalist and hearing he can’t sell you the top level healing potion unless you find some flowers is like going to the Liquor store and hearing you can’t get the Macallen Single Malt unless you go find him some barley, yeast and water.
Just another thing the devs didn’t think of when they made the game so easy and xp is thrown at you in buckets. gotta cater to casual bob. cant have bob falling behind!
progression does not scale similarly at all between anything. you can get to level 100 and have no glyph upgrades, not enough mats to do potions, not enough mats to re-roll gear, make elixers, etc etc etc.
leveling is way too fast. that kind of stuff should just happen naturally as you progress in the game but instead, you get to 100 and then have to go back and do 100 levels worth of chores.
and even if you actively try to do those things as you level, you still level way faster than anything else. so you still have to go out of your way to do stuff to catch up… but then in doing so you just level up even more.
jfc reduce XP for the love of god.
and even if your post was satire, it still brings more BS to light with how the devs don’t think before they do anything.
This is just a bad business model for that specific vendor, this one is not bob’s fault.
Who ever thought up this idea that we needed gathering in this game, did not really put too much thought into providing reasons or fun gameplay around it.
Lost Ark has something similar…but it is more thought out than this. You set aside half a session during the week and you get it done, and it is not like you have to search the entire map.
I am filing a BBB report against this herbalist, I hope he goes out of business.
I agree the whole system is pretty dumb. but… for whatever reason, the devs went with it and now its just a bunch more chores to do later on after you think you are done with chores lol.
dont be too hard on the guy. have you seen his shack? dude looks like he is pretty low on supplies. seems like theres a sanctuary-wide shortage on stuff. NOT HIS FAULT, MAN! THERE ARE NO DELIVERY PEOPLE BRINGING HIM SHIPMENTS!
I’ve seen those delivery people. Riding their horse around. Leaving one town and just riding aimlessly with no destination. I followed one once to see where he was going. I was riding around for like 10 minutes following this guy until he went into some backwoods town and disappeared instead of taking the shipment to the poor herbalist.
Call the BBB on those delivery dudes. Out here stealing all the supplies.
Ahh… this made me imagine a crossover with Atelier alchemist games. If they can do it with Call of Duty, nothing really would surprise me.
Sophie’s dress and staff for 2400 platinum and a cauldron for your horse to carry for just 800!
An OP after my own heart! I prefer Macallen neat and if possible a 25 year old neat.
And don’t forget the peat.
I like your idea i.e. Angelbreath can be hard to find. Maybe Tiny Tim could make a ghostly appearance too!
However the butcher will have blankets and a pillow, so your character can nap after a hard days harvesting. The blood seekers will come to seranade you with lullaby’s to bring sweet dreams devoid of Lilith, or really anything.
Edit: do you know how devastating it is knowing that the closest bottle shop to me, doesn’t sell butterscotch schnapps!
It’s gamer virgins like you, that are super mad that they can’t get a huge boost to their non existent self esteem from playing diablo games all day and night, that are ruining the game.
You don’t need to go to Fields of Hatred to get the ingredients for making your potions. I avoid those areas like the plague and have a max potion. If you’re short on something, use the make ingredients section at the crafter.
I’m all for a field of flowers though, because it would anger people. Players still complain about Whimseyshire, even though the unicorns and carebears left large puddles of blood and it was just a bonus level.
