Help with a quest

Hello,
First of all, I’m lvl 29 but still stuck in Act I because I can’t help myself doing tons of sidequests instead of focusing on the main campaign. Yesterday, I remember exiting Kyovashad on the East gate to do a quest when I saw a lightblue item on the ground just at the exit gate. When I picked it up, it went into quest items tab. I can’t remember its exact name but it was a tome, or a book. And when I tried to exit town, it said that quest item had to remain in town and would be dropped upon exiting Kyovashad.
Today I played again, but couldn’t find anything on the ground…

Someone knows the name of the quest plz? And does it randomly spawn? Thanks

Don’t worry. You have still this quest. Only some quest items drop sometimes off if you leave the area

If you found it on the ground randomly without actually breaking anything to get it, or flipping any bodies to discover it, then it’s most likely leftovers from someone else’s quest. I’ve found the Crimson Chalice laying around recently, picked it up, but then it auto dropped as I left Kyovashad because I’d already done that quest chain.
