HELP! Need Alt method to get obducite. Infernal Compass not dropping. T3 Season 7

I need some help knowing where I can 100% get IC’s to drop because I’m stuck behind bad RNG on my build, and with no IC’s I cant master work. The only time I got one was finishing the “eyes of the enemy” which bugged out on me like 15 times and I couldnt even finish that quest until I switched down to T2. I just need to know the places they dropped for you and take it from there.

I know the drops were reduced, but hopefully they didn’t accidentally put them in the super awesome mythic drop table (whoops boss, I put the compasses in the mythic drop table. I have ruined the Season of Witchcraft…foreverrrrr.) :rofl:

Nighmare dungeons drop obducite my guy. you should run them anyway for altars.

also, you can use tributes for the undercity.

Dungeon key rewards from whispers will get you compasses.

its suprisingly good. also dont forget the ashes of war to increase the amount for obducite :wink:

hah, yea its not a ton, but at least nmds are fast <3

i can run 2 compasses with you if you are in dire need.

you can also use the party finder btw :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Dungeons if you play well are about as fast as hordes on mats and not as punishing or crazy. Until you get all the secret altars just do dungeons.

IF you need scrolls then run the 6 wave ones and if u dont kill fast enought just do tier 3 or less.

When you get the buffs from the season pass (ashes) NMD’s are pretty good. I’m averaging about 1600 for a full clear on T4

Getting the urn blessing to 4/4 helps.

  • The acquisition rate of Infernal Compasses has been adjusted.
    • The chance to acquire one from Greater Helltide Chests has been increased.
    • The chance for an Infernal Compass to drop from the following sources have been decreased:
      • Whispers
      • Nightmare Dungeons
      • Lesser Helltide Chests
      • The Pit
    • A new Whisper Cache has been added, Collection Keys. This will include 3 Infernal Compasses and 3 Nightmare Dungeon Sigils.

They want us to be doing whisper tree stuff, it seems for the compass. Prolly cause seasonal event.

The best compass change was having them stack. So much more bag space now.

agreed, i wouldn’t mind 1 more qol is to have they look different between 6, 8, 10 variant, either alternate shapes similar to gems when they get stronger, or colouring.

Make sure your ash thingy is set to max for obductite and spam dungeons.

That’s what I just did LOL… unlocked T4 on my necro last night with like 3 pieces at 4/12 and a bag full of keys.

I prefer spamming NMDs over Hordes for the variety… but both work. Looking forward to seeing how much of a boost the 4/4 ash gives. I farmed something like 150k obducite last season to cap my gear with perfect triple MWs.
