Helm/Head Gear visibility option

Did the DEVS mentioned that there will be a Helm/Head Gear visibility option? Some of us like to see how CHAD our character faces are.

Yes, you will be able to toggle visibility of every gear or replace it visually for any other unlocked transmog.

Like for Head gear to be not visible at all, showing just your head. Is that an option?

Yep. You can have actually something equipped on head, but hide it completely visually.

You can make it so you look like you aren’t wearing an item at all.

You do this at the transmog wardrobe dealy in the main town. You can make any piece of armor go to your default look (so you can run around shirtless (or with those bra-like garments for women), helmless, etc. I think you could even do it for weapons but I am not sure how that translates into fighting animations as I didn’t go off in the world with it set to that. It might have just been so you could see your character without weapons on the screen of the wardrobe.

I think he means a box to tick in options rather than spending 4 minutes running to the transmog station to hide the helm every couple of hours/per new helm while leveling. Also forgetting to do it while in town and then needing to make an extra run back to town; then immediately dropping an upgraded helm and now the head is covered again; then doing it again.

Considering they added the base-outfit option for every slot in the wardrobe which is just invisible for helmet.

Don’t really see them repeating in an options tab.

Perhaps I’m misremembering but once I set a look in the wardrobe it just stayed that way regardless of gear changes.

I want to say the same thing … once I set it in the wardrobe … regardless of what I had equipped afterward … just stayed the same as I had inside the wardrobe.

If you choose no helm in transmog you never have to run back to do it again unless you want to. Whatever new helm you add will default to what you chose in the transmog window.

Okay. Well that’s great. I could have sworn I was dealing with the scenario I put forth. But happy to have remembered incorrectly.
