I just jumped into a Helltide and I couldn’t see any chests appearing on the map at all.
Spent a lot of time moving around and not even seeing any chests.
you need to zoom a bit closer for them to show.
Zooming in and out over and over didn’t help.
There was a distinct lack of chests in the world as well. I was going from chest location to location and nothing.
hmmm weird, sometimes they dont show up for me when there is no chest close. like, i dont think it shows for the whole HT are a you know but rather just for a large distance
Had it couple of times… they just didnt load on mini map. Bit they ware there. Leaving zone and coming back was fixing it.
Totaly new feature in this season.
this happened to me when i was trying to get the 10 helltide chests in 1 session. I went as soon as the helltide spawned in and counted on the map 4 75 costing chests to open and a few 125/150s… I said ill get all the low costing ones first and try to double grind to get the 125/150s if needed.
well after I opened the 4 75 that i saw on the map, looking around more i found 2 more 75s that just appeared (which is odd to me) but I just went with it and as i opened those 2 75s 3 more 75s appeared. So i think there is a set number of chests in an area and as you open chests they respawn more.
This was a few days ago (before the recent patch)
