Blood lures, cinders, and seeker keys are saving progress between each event? working as intended?
I hope so!!! It is a lot less stressful when you don’t have to panic trying to find altars or chests to use them on.
wait, the helltide stuff saves too? didnt know that and would extremely love it.
Blood harvest stuff is supposed to save between events. They said that on stream. They didn’t say anything about helltides. Haven’t done any yet, not sure.
Helltides should incorporate what Bloodtides has to be honest, bloodtides are way more fun with a smaller map that has constantly spawned mobs with all event stuff retained.
Running around finding chest and density on helltides makes it such an snooze fest.

Would be excellent if helltides carried over cinders. And also if there was always a helltide up. I think the vamptides in general are just much more enjoyable than helltides ever were. Especially now with boss summon material coming from helltides, some changes would be welcome.
Completely agree, the little event in the middle that requires you to fill the three altars with 50 lures each is super fun. I also like the fact that if you don’t get enough people to fill it out within the time limit it carries over to the next location the blood harvest spawns. So you aren’t wasting your lures.
I like the blood harvest and I’m glad it carries over, but I would be sad to see the helltide cinders carry over. The pressure of getting the right amount to spend them before it closes down is a lot of fun. Now, if they added helltide acclaim as a progression system, where you had to earn the acclaim during a single helltide then got to grab the bounties for the level you reached, then I’d be fine with cinders carrying over…
Also, they should definitely have helltides up more often, add more helltide events and always have helltide whispers going.
I think it can be fun if your timing works out well. But if you happen to login and you see a helltide up but there’s only so much time left, there’s this feelikg of well I’m not gonna bother then. Whereas with the blood harvest you can always just go do it regardless of how much time is left. Your time is never wasted there.

Way better to make it worth while to participate regardless of how much time we have. Reward what time we DO have to play, instead of making it feel “punishing” to not have a large block of time set aside.
If all you want is the chest of mysteries / living steel I suppose that’s true, but you only need a few minutes to get enough cinders to open a smaller chest. Those still give some forgotten souls and there’s also fiend rose to collect. If there was literally 5 minutes left I guess it would be mostly pointless, but the issue there is more that you will have to wait an hour+ for the next one.
Yeah that’s the main reason for me.
I do think something like the Hunter’s acclaim would be the better way to create tension during a single helltide (and perhaps whispers that expire at the end of it).
