The Cinders drop rate is way too low after Patch 1.1. One could get many legendary items during 1 hour before this patch; given how many legendary items are actually garbage, it made sense and one could really farm something. Now, when i get just few legendary items, i don’t want to waste time on Helltide, to be honest.
Disappointing example: I spent more than 30 min to farm 150 cinders after Patch 1.1, doing it non-stop and quickly. I opened a chest and got a rare item, two elixirs and a couple of cinders. This is very unmotivating.
well barbarian class is useless now. i was level 90 but seems that is the highest he ever be. sorcerer class is beyond salvation now. in other words, they made the game way less fun than what already was.
Even if they said there are some problems around helltide (bluepost was anywhere here in the forums) it is way easier to just grind new gear anywhere else instead of wasting time in helltide and after that wasting gold for rerolls.
To be fair that’s what it was even before the patch.
honestly, i didn’t feel very useless during helltide, specifically. I was lucky to get a unique armor with 9000 thorns before, so I still feel quite powerful in the same level nightmare dungeons as before the patch. I assume it will get worse in higher levels, given how many players complain after the patch.
I felt the most rewarding zones are the PvP zones.
Many monsters, many elite packs and if you don’t care for some 100s ganking/ or disable network crossplatform to be more alone it’s good exp, best grind-pathing and it feels really rewarding.
Kinda strange but give it a try if they have not stealth nerfed this zones into the ground.
thank you! it is indeed rewarding with crossplatforming off. never considered pvp zones for farming after being instantly killed there by 100lvl players
Same to me but I wanted the PvP helmet skin for my Barb. So I turned crossplatform off (I am PC User) and grinded the 90k in two hours I guess without any PvP.
These zones are pretty well designed for PvE I have learned in this session.
