HDR Needs Fixed

HDR options are vague and don’t provide a great result. First of all, there needs to be a way to manually input the desired number, as the slider results in something over or under an even number. The options need more explanation on what they are meant to do. Many other games provide an easier and better HDR experience. Perhaps I need to be educated a bit. Why is there an overall “brightness” setting? Should this be set to the midpoint between black point and white point? Why would you ever set black point at anything higher than the lowest it will go? Why doesn’t it go down to 0? Please provide a better HDR experience for both this game and Diablo II: Resurrected. Thank you for your consideration. Y’all are awesome.

EDITX8: I have a ASUS PG32UQX which is DisplayHDR 1400. After some tribulation, I believe I have obtained optimal settings for my monitor using the given sliders, but the range could be better. The black level seems brighter than it should be (particularly at the outer limits of the screen) thus not rendering this game as “dark and isolating” as promised.

Can confirm. I am experiencing the same issue.

Same. Even with the black point set to minimum, it’s impossible to get deep blacks, every dark scene looks washed-out and lowering the brightness simply makes it… less visible washed-out gray.

I think D4 could be stunning in well made HDR where dark areas would be truly dark and any candle or fire would stand out, but as it is now, SDR actually gives me a better experience (on an OLED screen).
