Having trouble killing T2 Bosses for boss powers

Why in the world would Blizzard raise the difficulty SOOOOO high between from T1 to T2 Bosses. I could kill the T1 Boss but can’t for the life of me kill a T2 Boss. Can SOMEONE please explain why they would make a lame change that much. I can tell you if season 9 is like this I am done. I only play solo and had more then enough of finding a group. :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: So no one would like to help a poor little Necro with any suggestions?? PLEASE

How long have you been playing the season? Eventually you get strong enough to play in T2.

From the start of season 8 until now. The way it’s going don’t think it will help almost done with Paragon. Plus the Bosses one shot me have 800 armour

Have you masterworked to at least level 4 for your gear? That will help a lot.

Yes past that on most of my armour. So the only thing I can think of is they OVER tuned the bosses for T2

Well, overtuned or not, you’ll have to overcome it somehow. So all your gear is 800, you have masterworked it to +4, you can beat pit 25 in under 7 minutes? Are you dying because your armor is only 800 instead of 1,000 and you’re not running enough defense?

Could be can’t find armour that is 1000 and I have enough defense, lol well maybe not sense they can one shot me

Well you’re a necromancer, so have you tried Aspect of Hardened Bones? It’s a free damage reduction right off the bat.

Are you having trouble dealing the damage or just surviving the encounters?

Just surviving the Bosses. Before T2 I had no problems at all. I will try Hardened Bones when I get the time. :flushed: Thanks Much!

You said you are almost done with paragon? So you have 4 boards up and 5 glyphs? What level are your glyphs? What glyphs are using? Its weird that you are/almost paragon 300 and still struggling on T2. What build are you running? Are you following a guide or just slapping together what makes sense? Are you using runes/gems? Running too many defense/offensive aspects/glyphs? Need more info here.

Give a detailed description of your build and characters stats.

Sorry, man. You just need to learn to understand the game better. Your build is unfocused and you either don’t know how to bake survivability into your build or you don’t know how to identify boss’ one-shot moves… or both. Give us all the details of your build and we can tell you what you’re missing… or you can go read resources on maxroll.

From my experience climbing the torment levels, focusing on the paragons is key.
Unlocking all 5 boards, activating glyph bonuses, activating legendary nodes then upgrading to legendary glyphs were the things I had to do to progress torment levels.

How big is your health pool?

Generally when you are being one shot outside of T4 it is because you are missing Armor rating (1000 listed on your character sheet) (not individual gear/item level, gear level is maxed at 800), Resistance level (70), or you HealthPool is not big enough. Consider adding Fortify and Barrier to increase this aslso. DR is a big part of defense also but in T2…I would focus on the others first, if you can get DR easily always take it, but make sure you meet the armor and resistance requirements per torment level first.

Remember that Torment 2 has an additional penalty to armor and reistance. So what was enough for Torment 1 is going to be lowered in Torment 2.

Also some bosses have certain attacks you just need to avoid. Like Andariel’s fire bar or Lilith’s spikes.

The last thing in s8 Bosses are the hardest thing in each torment level. So gear up until you can move to the next torment level or close to it. Someone said MW to 4 above, I would tell you to go even higher if it is a damage problem…but getting one shot in T2 it is usually a health pool issue first.

Also if you load your build into a planner like maxroll, it is much easier to give you more specific help.

hey man, if you need help getting the boss powers, i am happy to speed run you through them

I have Grig, Varshan, Zir, & The Beast on T1 farm status. But the only time I’ve tried any of them on T2, Zir one-shot me twice. It’s all good.

if its just for the boss powers, like the title says, just kill them on T1

They’re on “farm status.” I have their boss powers. But if I can’t take Zir on T2, there’s no way I’m getting Duriel or Andariel, who are needed on T2 for the seasonal journey.

Ever think in joining a party and get carried?
Just a ideia…

You know this is a MRPG, right?
