I agree, I am also enjoying druid in season 1. Working on a Poison Creeper/Landslide build and it is a lot of fun. Still working through spirit management issues though…that’s druid’s biggest issue imo.
Absolutely! I’m so glad I went druid in season 1 - there are so many tasty interactions with the malignant hearts that it’s hard for me to settle down on a build! I like Grizzly Rage (or Petrify) + Inexorable Force to bring all the enemies to you and Agitated Winds + Nature’s Fury gives you another way to proc Earthen Bulwark.
With Poison+Landslide, I’m also running Trample and Blood Howl. Both grant Spirit, and Trample adds another source of free Landslides. With the Packleader Spirit Boon and stacking Crit Chance, I usually get enough refreshes of Poison Creeper during boss fights to only use Poison Creeper + Trample. The only time I’m hard-casting Landslide is cleaning up after a fight or if I’ve been really unlucky with my refreshes.
I found my issue with poison landslide came from having to rely on landslide when not having procs - so I ended up just using the line version of earth spike and it became a nice way to proc poison off storm strike or from hard casting it
My main focus now is also Poison Creeper and Landslide.
Use shield and wait for a bunch of monsters to gather. Activate poison creeper and Surprise M#$%@@#$%ers!!!
There is absolutely no structure to my gameplay so far. I just bugger off in random directions based on how I feel, which is something I like about the open world.
I might:
Do some regional quests
Explore and look at the landscape
Set off looking for potion ingredients
Try to work on renown for a certain area
Do some season one quests…
