I took a break during 2nd week of S1 or around when BG3 released. Have recent XP buffs made any dent in the slog from 50-100? I checked it out last night, ran a few nightmare dungeons and it was bearable, maybe 5 or 6 nightmare dungeoins per level. But it didnt feel very noticeable.
Short answer. No.

No the game is boring. People think it’s the xp but it’s not. If the game was actually fun then you wouldn’t notice the grind.
Its one of the fastest leveling arpgs
I find the moment to moment combat decent. IMO its better than one-click two screen clear POE and isnt as clunky as last epoch (although LE has made great strides).
For me, it was the XP slog and the lack of bosses and fleshed out endgame on the way to uber lillith.
This.
The game is boring, and ultimately very shallow. It goes way beyond xp.
Proof you’ve never actually played Poe
They aren’t going to fix the itemization until an expansion, the experience doesn’t mean anything. All it does is throw you head first into the brick wall a little faster.
Take the 80$+ loss and wait until they re-hire a new team, go play other games or re-paint your room and watch it dry. Either would be a more rewarding, enjoyable experience.
Haha, try several thousand hours since Tempest through Expedition.
If you think clicking one button and clearing 1-2 screens of mobs is engaging gameplay, then you have a very low standard on engaging gameplay.
Ive noticed a huge difference. Between buff to ashes and WT4 how could you not? Thats a 35 percent increase. But if the game seems boring to you then no amount of xp buffs is going to change your opinion.
Nah you’re just vomiting things you’ve heard or read without actually understanding what you’re saying.
I have not played the game since Starfield came out. On the other hand, I don’t care about the XP buffs per say, give us enough meaningful, engaging content from level 85-100 and the XP/levels will take care of themselves
Hmm? Literally people doing no hit runs in PoE on the hardest content, full builds in PoE are way stronger then full builds in D4.
Im new to PoE and even I know this is a thing… I haven’t figured out how to do it myself yet… but one day…
It helps, but not much.
I haven’t noticed a difference. At this point, I’ve mostly stopped playing the game. I ran out of things to do. The difference isn’t that much at higher tiers because those already have a bigger XP boost. But at the same time, the devs capped the xp gains, so it’s diminishing returns anyway.
The main appeal for an xp boost would be to level a champ faster and get to 100. Then I could create a new champ with a different play style. But the game is massively unbalanced and broken. Some builds are so OP that they are boring, and other builds are so bad they feel broken. The itemization and affixes need a massive overhaul. So XP is far from being the only issue.
I don’t even understand the question. XP buffs make a difference for what? XP is really not the issue with this game. If there was something fun or worthwhile to do past level 50 it wouldn’t even matter that much how fast or slow it was.
Obviously, you wouldn’t want it to be too slow and grindy but if what you were doing was fun it would still be worth doing. On the other hand if leveling is super fast but there is nothing worthwhile to do and no reason to level up then who cares how much XP you get?
It’s possible, it’s possible in almost arpg. But no it is not common in Poe if you actually get far into the end game. Maybe actually put real time into it before you speak
Yes, sir. I’ll keep my trap shut on the matter from now on. thank you for correcting my egregious mistake.
Have you ever played POE beyond leveling phase?..It’s very common bcs almost every propper mapper build clears whole screens without effort in endgame, but OK.
Have you? Yeah I’ve been playing since the beginning. I’m sure you’ve seen streamers or YouTubers do it or maybe you use someone’s meta build because you’re too dumb to understand how to make your own.
Let me guess you think most people even get their character to level 100.
In every arpg any proper build should be able to clear a screen pretty quickly.
You’re just repeating more of what you’ve heard or read
