Your hardware is not to blame. Blizzard has acknowledged this is an issue, evident in all the patch notes.
You should not need to change anything if it was working before.
But if you are tired of waiting on them you can turn down some things in order to get it to a working state. This will reduce the amount of memory this game is using. That is all.
Feel free to look at my post history on the things I have turned off…or don’t, no one really knows your specific hardware needs. But I had gotten it to stop on the latest nvidia drivers then got one crash today for a Blizzard update. Outside of that it was pretty stable recently.
My guess is they are still trying things to fix this for the majority, there will be setbacks. Just be patient.
Anyone who tells you otherwise should go to the console section of these forums.
Also note they have overwritten your graphics options with the last patch so set it back to what you had it at.
