I’ve been looking around unsuccessfully for this, but I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on the best eternal hardcore build out there with a link to a guide. I’m using the Maxroll chain lightning guide at the moment and almost level 75. I put flame shield in the enchantment slot along with firebolt for the free death avoidance. I’m moving along at a nice pace and will become more daring once I hit 100, but I’d like some input on what I should be aiming for that is tanky at endgame and fun. I know ball lightning has some good survivability, but I don’t know if there are some ice or fire builds that would serve me better. I’m only doing this to see if I can hit 100 with a hardcore character. I know it is not hard if you are avoiding sketchy fights, but I still want to do it nonetheless. Any ideas? I’ll post this in the hardcore forum as well since I could not find anything really useful.
P.S. I have not seen another player on eternal harcore in like 40 levels!

I don’t play in HC mode, but here is my take (worth very little as I am not qualified except as keyboard warrior).
In my mind I think range would survive better because I am farther away from danger. So knee jerk reaction is to go blizzard build. In reality, I die less often (if at all) while playing BL and being up close versus the blizzard build.
Finally, even when I have flame enchant on, it doesn’t always trigger, so it’s not a great fail safe. Some probably still exists in code.

There exists 1 time death elixrs you can farm before doing anything risky.

How is blizzard on dungeon bosses?
It depends on how much the boss moves around because blizz casts need to stack up. No doubt BL is better for bosses due to this, but I think with the new unique blizzard ring blue rose it is much, much better than before.
I will test later without the Vampiric Powers. My guess is it would be okay. Not too weak but nothing exceptional
