So I heard about the eternal realm character boost and have 3 leveled Spiritborn already on non-hardcore seasonal realm so I wanted to use the boost on Hardcore, I create an Eternal realm Hardcore character with campaign skip so I am in Kyovashad. I look around and only see the Midwinter Ward as something new in town. I click it thinking it is part of the character boost since I am not seeing anything else. This only gets me to level 2 with bags I can’t open and some nightmare dungeon keys. I then read that Hardcore doesn’t have character boost, so then I go back to season realm to get the midwinter ward rewards on seasonal realm character, only to also find out it is once per account regardless of realm even. So now I have bags on eternal hardcore since I wasn’t aware that this was a 1 time only thing that wasn’t related to the character boost.
i understand that this must have been frustrating for you, but as you pointed out the information was available for you to read before acting. as such, there is no bug involved here, and maybe you are able to draw motivation from this experience to not make mistakes like this in the future. best of luck.
I did something similar. I started a new character build and started it in seasonal, not realizing you can’t change it to Eternal or that I can only use the boost in Eternal. Also started right next to the ward clicked it thinking it was the boost. I even deleted the character so i could start in eternal, now ive lost everything that it could have given me. Absolutely useless.
