Hardcore and Paragon sharing?

Question on Hardcore.
Are paragon points shared like on Softcore or does each character have to grind its own paragon?

And - if the first does the paragon disapear if I have only one HC Character and I die?

I created a new HC Character on Eternal, my first for Season 6. I was hoping it would be granted the Paragon from my last Lvl 100 Character from last season (which had died), but that does not appear to have occured.

If i had to guess, you needed to have one lv 100 hardcore char alive when you downloaded the update at season start. That character would then be reduced to level 50 and the 200 paragons saved to be account wide.
If you dont have those paragons right now, you probably have to farm them again.

I dont think that you lose new paragons grinded though. I lost 2 characters doing the citadel in hardcore and the paragons were fine (i didnt have any other seasonal hardcore characters at that time).

Interesting. The eternal Character I created is listed as 1/1 so I suspect I needed a live L100 Character to get the paragon, as opposed to my dead heros.

HC server =/= SC Server

So you need to lvl Paragon on both servers on its own. (I’m for example 222 in HC and 275 in SC Season)

Hope to push my HC Paragon this Season because SC 300 is happening for sure.

I am fully aware of that. I have no live Eternal HC characters, but my last HC last season was Lvl100 before it died.

So created a Eternal HC to see if it got the paragon like on Softcore, but the character is listed as 1/1, but a new Softcore is listed as 1/201. Thus not getting any paragon points from my dead hero.
