Can’t be done on T3+ unless you grind your life away. Because you can’t control your minions in an ARPG in 2025, they mindlessly sit there and attack the portals on phase 3 and eventually you will die. No amount of moving will get the damn minions to move and attacking. I had to knock this down to T2 to get it done, and I barely managed it all because I can’t control my damn minions.

got him down on t3 with my minionmancer. Wasnt neccessarily easy, but i dont expect that this early in the season.

A lot of people want to be 60 and level to 200 paragon getting BiS gear a long the way and be ”Done” with the season within maybe a 20 hr of gameplay or like 5-7 days IRL time.

Errr arent minion necros bugged again? Check macrobioboy on youtube for the details, i am not playing necro this season, if you’d like.
I’m able to down Harbinger as minion necro about half the time in t3 with gear good enough to beat other bosses at t4.
What you have to do is save the Akarat holy orb for when your minions are bugged out attacking the invulnerable gate—when they do that use the orb on the small gate they won’t attack.
Still buggy and a very frustrating fight.
Nevermind, " * Fixed an issue where Holy Orbs persisted after phase conclusions during the Harbinger of Hatred encounter.", the only way to kill Harbinger as minion necro was nerfed in a bug fix
Stay at the bottom. Take 1-2 orbs and fire them north. If you stay at the bottom, the harbinger will very rarely attack out of the left or right gate.
Destroy these gates at first and you should have no problems. Dioesn’t matter which class you are.

Agreed but, to be fair it is a little tricky as the minionmancer currently, since the hatred prison in the later phase cant be atacked by minions. Reported it in the bug report section already.
Basically it leads to you having now orbs at all in the last phase. You can still do it, but its pretty tricky.
I feel like this is a pretty silly attitude given the only thing that makes this hard is that the minion AI is bad and they can’t be told (or compelled by a skill) to attack a specific target, unlike literally all other modern ARPGs.
The only thing that makes this boss “hard” is that they dont target the hatred prison as i stated, which clearly is a bug. Like, they literally cant target it. Golem ignores it as well if you send him there.
I get it.
Switch to another boss power in this fight? On with enough wumms to destroy the hatred prison?

doesnt really work out on t4. Cant damage it enough with boss powers.
I mean as i said, its still doable, just something that blizzard hopefully pay attention to. Paragon 223 now so boss powers do hit hard, but yea, its got a pretty solid health pool lol.
on lower tiers its no issue at all, the minions can deal with the health pool with proper gear.
