Hadto install onto D drive SSD 1 TB drive

Anything bad about installing on an SSD or on a D drive? I only had 50gb left on my C drive…

SSD is part of the system requirements. Installing to D is not an issue. I actually have D, E, F, G, H drives, all with games on them. No problem.

you’ll be fine! good luck tomorrow :beers:

And it would even work in it wasn’t an SSD but just an old HDD.

My D drive is my game drive (currently a 4TB SSD). Doing it this way has saved me a lot of bandwidth and time after a re-OS for many years (From the Vista era to Win 10 21H2 on the last game box).

The actual drive letters are completely irrelevant. Yes, SSD good.

“On a D drive” lol. I assume you just mean a regular harddrive. And no it’ll be fine. The only real difference is loading time, and since there are no loading screens (or at least not very many) as everything is loaded as you play, you won’t even really notice a difference, so you’ll be fine.

This is pretty much how I do it. C: for my OS, D,E,F and G are for everything else. No more headaches.

Nope, I’ve done the same for countless games, I also have two SSD drives, C and D.

Considering that this game was optimized for both console and PC I think I’d only run it off a gen4 SSD. More and more game developers are just going to assume you’re using a fast SSD since even consoles like PS5 use gen4.
