Had to refund, really disappointed Blizzard

I’m not paying all this money to be a game tester. All day, any new instance, or talk to npc, or look at my inventory, or do anything with a new UI, it takes 2 minutes to load. I have a $2000 PC, and my friends on ps5 can run it flawlessly now. Really sad day for Blizzard. Server slam was fine compared to this.

I’m having the same issue. I’ve reinstalled twice with no solution. Currently reinstalling again after reformatting windows to see if that helps at all.

I can be out in the open capped at 144fps but the moment i interact with anything to do with the UI/Vendors/Entering a new zone/instance the game freezes for 1 - 2 minutes.

yup definitely the same problem as me. And there were other threads having the same issue back in beta/slam. But i didn’t have it in free beta/slam, and now I’m having it on launch.

My specs: 2070super, win 11, 13700KF, 30gb RAM, NVME M.2 SSD. Latest drivers and windows updates. Ultra texture pack was not installed (maybe it has something to do with this). Tried every graphical setting possible too.

Well thats the problem!
You only have 30gb of RAM.
You need 64 to run new Blizzard games…

Yeah, through both betas and the slam I had no issues at all. It’s only since installing the full game that I’ve had the issue.

Did a full reformat of my PC and clean install of windows, tried previous Nvidia drivers and current drivers, I tried studio drivers, had nothing but diablo running and I still have the issue. Currently downloading the HD assets to see if this fixes anything.

I’m now convinced this is an NVME M.2 SSD Issue (Or any fast SSD). Please blizzard re-look at your NVME SSD compatibility!!! Try another HDD if you have one.
