One of the random maps generated had a way around the first sealed door. I went around and killed the two grinning fiends before destroying the last demonic corruption. When I went back and destroyed the last corruption it updated task to get by next door to kill the two grinning fiends. But they wouldn’t spawn again so couldn’t compete the dungeon.

YES! This just happened to me. I saved a screen capture if we are allowed to post.
This has just happened to me as well. Unable to complete dungeon as I have cleared all enemies before completing first task so second task is not completable now.
