Game will not load and only shows a grey screen after clicking “Play” in the launcher. Eventually the program hangs and I get a windows error saying the game is unresponsive. Video drivers are up to date and I already tried to scan and repair the install. Anything else I can do?
I’m seeing a similar issue. Im on Linux, but the game work working perfectly before the season update. I can launch the game, I can hear audio of the intro, but the screen is just gray. I can see the mouse cursor but its just on a gray screen.

Driver Version: 550.78
OS: Garuda Linux BirdOfPrey Soaring x86_64
Kernel: Linux 6.8.9-zen1-2-zen
I reinstalled the game to clear out any video settings, same result.
Lutris logs show the following repeating continually while the game is running:
8088.850:07e8:0920:err:vkd3d-proton:dxgi_vk_swap_chain_recreate_swapchain_in_present_task: Failed to create swapchain, vr -3.
nvidia-smi shows that the GPU is not loading game data., barely any vram is used.
EDIT - fixed for me. Had to specifically select the NVIDIA GPU in Lutris instead of letting it auto-select between discrete and integrated.
