Has anyone successfully target farmed this by faming fallen or goatman? I hear the chances of them dropping it are better. I got one as a random drop in wt3, now I’m in wt4 and can’t get one to drop.
I still have not seen one, nor a Tempest Roar. But I have gotten 3 Vasily’s Prayer helms and 3 of those dumb chill boots, I don’t remember the name.
Just keep grinding NMD.
It’ll start raining uniques. I’m 94 and I’ve trashed at least a half dozen of each.
Il getting that stupid ring like candy. Everything drops it it seem lol. I have a couple vasilys and a couple fury’s and a couple mad wolfs. No crones no roars and no gibbons

I got in on LEVEL 98 ! After 70+ hours… Worth the time and grind? OF COURSE NOT !
Blizzard clearly does not want to give it to everyone because it WOULD BE FUN. They just keep pushing out their bad patches, but fixing the actual loot table and chances are absolutely restricted.
I’m done with this game until they get anything which prevent the endless grind for items which never drop.

I got my one in my alter at lvl 56, but it req lvl 60
I got 2 of the staffs. But never seen a temepest roar drop.
Got my unique staff from Nightmare dungeon tier 53 completion reward. Yeah, that took a while. Now I need to get gear with specific affix for a build to utilize it.
I have 2 of the Crone Staffs, im lvl 90 with to much ND, droped random. Its realy fun to Play but lags a bit in Defensive, or it is the downgrade from the Patch for were Form.
I just got one today. It it seems like I was taking way more damage than normal today. Especially from the stupid wasps lol

lvl 77 grinding t4 hell tides and mid to upper 40’s NM duns. have yet to see a single great staff drop… i have gotten a ton of other uniques including like 8 butchers cleavers… sigh guess ill just keep on keepin on.
I got it just now along with a Tempest Roar as a NMD clear reward. But I guess that’s all my luck for today coz I keep getting bare minimum crit affix rolls at the enchanter lol.
i got 2 on fallens in champion demise and one on ice goat , don’t give up.
didn’t see it before lvl 91 tho
I have been farming cultist and goatman nmd. I see hoarfrost and dont even care about the dungeon effects. Just want my dang staff haha
Found 1 as a random drop in NM dungeon. The next day i got one as a NM dungeon clear reward.
Got mine yesterday during the helltide event from a elite pack. But before that I hadn´t seen a unique item for at least 20-30 levels.
Just grind out Nightmare Dungeons. After the mob density increase, as well as the guaranteed legendary drop from bosses and Legion Events (these legendary drops have a chance to roll as unique) I’m seeing a lot more uniques. I got 7 uniques in the span of a couple hours last night just running NM Dungeons back to back, with the occasional Legion event mixed in. One of the drops was a Crone Staff.
It was at the point that I was picking up uniques without even realizing it until I looked in my inventory and found them. I highly suggest just running NM dungeons and Legion Events and ignoring target farming.

I found 3 of the Crone Staffs last week (doing NM), all of them +9 to claw and 138%, 146% and the first one even had 150%, I couldn’t believe my eyes, especially after I got the tempest roar at level 77 the day before 
I know how rare it is, according what i heared and read across the internet, so I felt very good on those days…
Then I realised, Crone is for the Storm-Claw Build that is ranked as C-Tier Build? In an instant I felt pretty sad. Is crone any good, if you have a tempest roar and could go for Tornado- or Shred Wearwolf instead?
