Does the higher the difficulty of the content increase the change of getting pieces with greater affixes? I just hit 100, so I’m slowly working through more difficult stuff, but my luck at getting greater affix stuff is pretty bad.

Nope. I did a t105 pit earlier and didn’t get a single GA item in the drops. Did tormented duriel and tormented Gregoire and got maybe 2 single GA items.
This is purely anecdotal but to me it seems the chances for a single GA are about 5%, 2GA seems to be between 0.2-0.5% or between 1 out of every 200 to 500 drops. 3GA is probably 0.05% definitely feels like less than 1/1000. All that is at any level of difficulty in WT4.
This means the best way to farm 3 greater items is just run the helltide boss over and over and farm in helltides in general. You get a gross amount of items in helltide.
I have about 8 3GA items SSF. I have 2 level 100 characters and received all those between levels 75 and 95… I have never gotten one while level 100. RNG is RNG… but you never know.
Goes back to when people ‘felt like’ more ubres dropped if you had a low-level character in with the fight on Duriel last season. By low I just mean, not level 100.
