Does the benefit continue if your essence reduces to zero?
Does the purple drain reduction and generation boost heart offset it enough?
Is the 75% enough to justify the effort to maintain essence?
I would also like to know how it functions. Minus 14 to 28 essence a second for 75% damage feels bad as it reads. Then if you sacrifice its only 5 essence lost and the same bonus? No idea why they made having minions worse.
I think the most important question will be if its a flat, outside the “bucket” 75% damsge boost. If its essentially +75% summoning damage, which, strangly enough, only applies .30 like every other reduced stat minions get, then I highly doubt its worthwhile.
If it’s boost is a flat three quarters increase to your overall aggregate minion damage, before vuln… then maybe
Based on this question post I’d assume it’s the latter.
Why everyone is keep thinking about that benefit did not continue after essence at 0 level? Does anyone have a proof about that? I think the way that developers intend with this hearth for minion build is you have to play with 0 essence (no core skills, no spenders).
