When I build minions, I always focus on:
- Critical Chance
-Critical Damage
-Vulnerability
-Vulnerability damage
I understand you. I share some of this idea. But I like to think that I can, for example, do a better job in physics by taking advantage of great discoveries from other experiments. Learning from others does not diminish my achievements.
I don’t have issue with conceptually looking at something, but I don’t need someone to play the game for me. Just never been my mindset.
Cannot compare this to accrued knowledge topics like Physics. We play video games to enjoy them. Why let someone take that from you?

It’s an excellent video. I just watched it. Didnt know that some features dont work. (Shadow mages dont trigger shadowblight.)
I might work on Vulnerbility stat. Thing is, i abandoned my corpse tendril and bone prison. Perhaps i should switch to Iron Golem.
Iron Golem is how I apply Vuln.

I use it for the vulnerability and crit chance it adds to the skill aspect.
I don’t know if it is radical, we may just be different ages.
I have been playing video games from the 80’s.
I don’t mind discussing games I enjoy it. Different outlooks are nice.
But I like to experience and play my game. So what if it isn’t the max number possible?
I would have played Bonespear and not intentionally picked something people said was weak if I wanted to do that. I wanted to really see how this plays with no external input. As in Can I make it work?
I did the same thing with my Sorc on eternal. And my build is fine, even through everyone telling me Sorc sucked, blizzard is not viable…and I did not have that issue.

Yes, but my problem is i have to sacrifice my Golem or the slot. 
Corp Explosion + corp tendril + minions + golem delivers more results than using Iron maiden in any situation, and that’s a lot more.
Before, Creeping Death = Great Feast < Barber.
Now, Creeping Death < Great Feast < Barber.
Creeping Death seems very common. You use this til you get Great Feast. Great Feast, not as common as Creeping Death, you use this until Barber. Barber is somewhat the rarest among the 3.
Get Howl from Below, Black River and Sacrilegious Heart for Great Feast. And you can start having an AFK Summoner. You dont press any button… just move and let the skellies destroy everything.

Barber is better. Feast, being multiplicative now, is okay and doing fine but it still isn’t close to Barber

Yes - it does constantly drain so if you want to go with Feast then you focus on essentially having a zero essence demand build imo like Corpse Explosion. Only essence spend I have is Decrepify and I can usually get one Dcrep off at the start of the fight and then have the Decrep Heart do the needed debuffing afterwards
I tested them BEFORE the most recent patch and barber won… I also had a ring of Mendeln on as well, however, feast is now multiplicative, and not additive… should be way more effective. Been playing my druid lately now that I completed the season journey. My poor necro is just collecting dust lol
Just to update I went back to my original gear and Blood Lance over Iron Maiden.
Iron Maiden is nice with Razorplate. But I was overlooking something. Blood Lance is not just my ranged skill, it is also adds to my fortify where Iron Maiden doesn’t. So being forced to play close with less Fortify was not as good overall for the Razorplate. The 20% that Iron Maiden adds does not outweigh the fact that bigger things are cracking my fortify an making me not want to get hit.
And I went back to needleflare on the ring for 40%, and my 100% attack speed increase on overpower on the 2hander. This was really a good setup and I have been running it from about lvl 70 so comfortable with it.

That is what I am trying to find out.
The answer is yes the damage requires essence, it doesn’t look like their hits have the multiplier when you don’t have any essence. Which is dumb because the draw is constant so the damage should be also. If they fix this, it would be a lot better.
Also I just found a 1.0 Great Feast…should I?? 
I have 2 Rings of Mendeln now so I can just put this in the old one, they are fairly close in stats and would not lose my Barber this way.
