With barber + Melden my minions got +3M critical hit. The shorter the heart’s cooldown, the more constant and powerful the damage.
I would think longer is better. It reads “Stored damage is increased by 14%[x] per second”. So would that not mean 4 seconds delay multiplies that multiplier by 4 as opposed to say 2.3 which is mine? I get the bursts are further apart.
Also I am not sure why I was not running Iron Maiden with Razorplate before…but I am now.

The heart with a 4s cooldown time you get a burst of greater damage, not much, but less constant damage and losing a lot of damage that comes from the Melden ring. As the minions damage is very low, the accumulated during the 4s is not something that makes it worthwhile.
On the other hand, when you have 2s of cooldown the higher critical hits are more constant and equally powerful.
I didn’t like Razorplate’s experience with minions, are you giving percentage of your thorns to minions?
Yeah I have a ring that gives skellies and Golem thorns. And my helmet gives Mages thorns.

Do minions activate barber heart?
Not 100% on this one, but I think their Crits can activate it. I need to rewatch the vid where I am using barber not the one in this thread.
I never actually looked for it, because I have skeletal warriors who will crit when I crit with the 3 second cooldown.
Too many minions hitting anyways. So hard to tell. I assume you also need high crit.
I have 51% crit, 205% crit damage with Bone Storm active. It’s hard to see minion crit numbers when there are so many mobs.
Haha that is way higher than my crit chance. My damage I think is 175%.
Paragon rare nodes and crit damage glyphs. My 1 ring only gives 25% to crit damage. :3
Wish we have an Armory feature to share builds and boards
Yes, minions inherit 100% of your character’s crit chance and crit damage.

I focused on the Overpower first. My Overpower is at 513%.

I wanted to get Scent of Death in, but I don’t think I will have enough points.

Yeah I took a lot of the nodes on Cult Leader and Bloodbath. I would like to add the Golem glyph or even just the legendary on scent of death.

There are many peculiarities that we never discover for ourselves. Minion build is full of them, that’s why I recommend guides like this one, it helps a lot to refine the set and improve the use by getting a refinement of the damage. You will see how your minions will do real damage to enemies when they work correctly.
When you start to see your minions giving 3, 4, 8M crits per hit and melting enemies, the satisfaction is huge hahaha
