My graphics settings get reset every time I launch the game. Have to keep setting them up. Not sure if known issue.
Specs:
Alienware m15 Ryzen Ed. R5
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX with Radeon Graphics 3.30 GHz
RAM: 64 GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU
OS: Windows 11 Home 22H2 (22621.1413)
I have the same issue and I play on two different desktop windows 11 computers. One is a fully balls to wall Intel newest gen 4090 GPU, DDR5 etc and other is a Nvidia 2080 Super, older Intel, DDR4
I’ve seen others with this issue and they say to change a read only preferences file but I don’t have the file or the folders that they mentioned. I tried Admin mode also, no help.
similar problem here, I play on desktop and laptop, the desktop is way more powerful than the laptop. the game seems to try and sync the graphics settings, and messes it up!
so when I play on my laptop it saves the settings and when I reopen on the desktop it adopts some (not all) of the laptop settings! specifically it applies the Max FPS settings from my laptop to my desktop and for some reason disables the DLSS, (maybe this is because the laptop has a 30 series GPU and the desktop a 40 series, and DLSS 3 isn’t available on 30 series cards?!?
Anyway it’s super annoying having to reset this stuff every time I switch… why on earth these settings are saved to the cloud is anyones guess
