Graphics Drivers Out of Date

When I try to launch Diablo IV, I get a graphics drivers out of date prompt. Is says:
Current Version: 20.10.35.02
Minimum Required Version: 21.5.2

However, when I look at my drivers for my GPU (Radeon RX 580) it says I’m on driver: 27.20.1034.6

Any ideas what may be causing this or work arounds?

Easiest would be to update your driver, just open the adrenaline software and look for an update. Since 20.10.35.02 is like 3 years+ old, there should be an update. Most recent is 23.5.2 … or the way you look at it: 31.0.14057.5006, which is the windows driver number.

But he said his drivers were on version 27.20. I don’t think updating his drivers is the problem, there.

that is not his driver version, as explained :person_shrugging:

Same issue here. It seems the game is not reading the correct driver version…

Don’t go by what windows is tell you. That is what they call windows store driver version. 27.20.1034.6 He doesn’t have the min driver. The version he is running is 20.10.35.02.

I’m been do testing on the 3 different computers. The one computer is a older one with a R9-380-4gb card. That driver just made under the radar. It is 27.20.20913.2000 / 22.6.1

So don’t go by the version it is showing in device manager. Go by the one in the amd control panel.

Same issue here. I get the same error though my driver in the AMD control panel is:

22.40.37.17

AMD software shows the same version 31.0.14037.17019 from 2023-04-24 as DeviceManager.
Also AMD software tells that I have the latest version of driver and I beleive it.
But Diablo still does not start because reads version 20.10.35.02.

Try doing a clean install instead.
