Uber unique bug:
The grandfather Greater affix is missing.
I have farmed many hours and finally got my uber unique with a greater affix (an improved stat with a star).
However, there is no improved stat on the item, the greater affix is not displaying anywhere.
The item is still on my account on my seasonal character.
Same here, Star showing up but none of the three visible stats are marked.
Did the “undestroyable” affix getting “buffed” here? What do i do with it now?
While I was mastering the grandfather item, it did not increase my feature at lv 12 and 2 features were increased, although it should be 3, I request it to be resolved. Raytheon#21973 my id pls fix it!
I suspect the 4th affix (ignores durability loss) got the GA bonus - which is a complete loss.
You guys can’t be real taking 4 sparks off people crafting this and then ending up having the GA on some affix which doesn’t even show up in the tooltip?
Let me have a guess: mastering it can have this 4th affix be upgraded as well?
I consider this to be a bug, you can’t be real about this, this is an issue.
@Raytheon Maybe the third upgrade landed on the non-visible 4th affix (ignores durability loss) - time to reset masterworking and retry it.
@mscn In Uber items, the 4th feature does not increase, it comes down to one of the 3 features. For me, 2 of my features turned blue and the 3rd one was wasted. As a result of the upgrade, it said that only the General statistics increased by 25%.
This is fairly well documented now. The previous 4th stat “ignores durability loss” hasn’t actually been removed from the item, it has just been hidden and made not visible on the item card basically. And unfortunately, that means it can be picked as a Greater Affix, as well as picked for the +25% boost at tier 4/8/12 masterworking.
Blizz definitely need to fix this ASAP imo.
Happend to me 5 minutes ago. Masterworked the grandfather to lvl 12 and the window show me “nothing” has upgraded with 25%. I only have two affixes shown once upgraded…
This Problem also happens to “Rayment of the Infinite” and “Flameweaver”
I have a very similar issue with resetting masterwork ranks on The Grandfather. I upgraded it to rank 4, didn’t get the stat I wanted, so I reset it (5m gold + mats). I leveled it up to rank 4 again, and then the window said a stat was upgraded, but it didn’t show any information. I then looked at the weapon and there was no 25% increase to a stat. I exited the game completely and logged in again. The weapon does not have any single stat upgraded 25%. It is not highlighted in blue like it should be. It didn’t work at all, and I’m out 5m gold + mats.
Casual player here…I finally accumulated enough resplendent sparks to craft my first Uber Unique. I crafted Grandfather for my barb, and I was super excited to see the “STAR” over the item when I crafted it. Only to find out it didn’t have a single greater affix (GA) on the sword. Is there any way that you guys can fix this? I don’t need multiple GA’s, just one would be great! Thanks!
Unfortunately, it is random whether you get 1 or 4.
If you get it without GA you can’t do anything but re-cultivate the grandfather.
Really? It has the GA star on the item, but it came without a GA? The devs can’t do anything for people that this happened to? Its not easy getting uber’s or sparks for people that don’t play the game for a living.
This is a bug that will be fixed with next Tuesday’s patch.
