So if you hold down your foot pedal to whirlwind the entire time while your pressing macro for other things to pick items up you are breaking the intended gamepaly of having a inhuman reaction time with a big advantage over others playing it normally.

unfortunately you are done mate. Warden caught that as clear as daylight. Send in an appeal, i am sure they won’t reverse it, especially since the DEVs said it multiple occasions, no third party macros allowed to be connected to the game client that send in inputs to the game actions

Does anything you use automate ANY inputs by holding down a key of any type?

That is a good idea if someone can afford it. It is also a good idea to keep any emails used for game accounts totally separate from real life accounts. I have an email that is just for my Bnet that is never used other places. No phishing, spam, or anything else. No risk of it being stolen if some other site is compromised.

I feel bad for folks who use the same info for all their accounts then end up with a mess when one website is compromised.

Blizzard said no automation at all. Your opinion on “single player” or not does not matter. Warden does not care about your opinion.

we gotta ban some streamers then. a lot of them use some kind of rapid fire feature from their peripherals.

hold down to spam click type of deal. its obvious on a bunch of streams :slight_smile:

so your macro was a loop that spammed click while holding the button? Any macro that has a loop or if/else kind of logic has always been something they’d ban for :man_shrugging:

Not sure why you’d need that anyway since any skill in the game will spam itself just holding it normally.

Also, there’s an accessibility option built into the game where you can turn toggle all on in the options and just press a key once and it just constantly does it until you toggle it back off or get cced by some kinds of cc, though it’s annoying to try to learn to play with it on for most skills I think. It also toggles move on so you can just auto-walk by toggling move on and off. I think they should let you turn toggle on for force move only, but currently it’s channeled abilities, everything or nothing as the only 3 options.

Unfortunately streamers might get a “pass” so they can promote the game and make it more appealing at least other games have allowed it while being advertised on twitch etc.

There are a lot of accessibility features that can be done within the game for certain. Those are fine to use of course and are what players should be doing. Also the controller gives a lot more options for accessibility for motor control issues. It is awesome so many games are doing this stuff now!

Things integrated into the the peripheral itself is undetectable as it is generating the hardware interrupts individually “as if the key was actually pressed”. I think the real issue Blizz is attempting to tackle are third-party applications that automate key presses based on scripting which can lead to the development of bots. Your keyboard auto pressing a key in the hardware can’t do this since you have to physically hold the key down for anything to happen.
