While is was playing today and hit level 50 , whispers and dungeons start dropping the glyphs for the board right .
So why not keep as drops and every time you pick up a unlocked one you get a glyph level up , helps the grind and you level others up a bit in case you want to switch your build .
What do you guys think ?

I think the vastly superior idea is to allow Ultimate nodes on the Paragon Board to level up in some fashion.
As it stands today, many of the nodes get skipped in favor of a far easier Glyph unlock. And Glyphs gain monumental power.
Glyphs of different rarity higher than rare. They already introduced it with AoZ. Now let 20 to 40 new glyphs drop with some spicy stuff. These glyphs can goto lv 50. I wont provide number values for balance reasons. You get the ideas. 3 sorc glyphs.
Legendary Glyph - Fire and Ice (Sorc only)
3 Range. 4 Range at 15. 5 range at 50.
For every 5 INT or 5 WIS in range deal X more fire and cold damage.
With 40 INT in range when you cast an fire skill reduce the CD of your ice skills by X.
With 40 WIS in range when you cast an cold skill reduce the CD of your fire skills by X.
Unique Glyph - Supreme Conjurer (Sorc only)
3 Range. 4 Range at 15. 5 range at 50.
Conjurations have X% more attack speed and X% less CD per 5 INT.
With 50 INT in range you can have 1 additional conjuration (have charges now). Conjurations have X% more lucky hit chance per 50 int.

3 Range. 4 Range at 15. 5 range at 50.
For every 5 stats in range, add X% fire, cold, and lightning damage and an additional X% fire, cold, and lightning damage to stunned or frozen or immobilized enemies.
With 25 DEX in range gain Lucky Hit - X% Call down a meteor or a random element to strike. (poison, shadow, physical meteors are possible)
With 25 WIS in range gain X% lucky hit.
With 25 STR in range add your STR to your INT.
With 50 INT in range your fire damage is now lightning damage, your lightning damage is now cold damage and your cold damage is now fire damage and add plus 1 to all skills. (the possibilities!)
power creep to the max? no thanks
The glyphs need to be rethought, since a lot of power comes from them and we completed level 100 without reaching 21 in them. What are the blue glyphs for?
I think that per season we could choose one of the Glyphs and transform them into Legendaries with infinite level and in Gautles the legendary Glyphos would not be activated. And why can’t we take them to the eternal character? Every season should have something to take, who cares about the power in eternal. It would be cool to have several legendary glyphs after several seasons.
I think the blue glyphs should have the same powers as the yellow ones. And the yellow glyphs only fall at level 50 or more. Then it would make the game much more interesting and difficult. Today it’s just a matter of improving the glyphs and anyone can make the final content.
I believe that XP is not the best way to improve it. It should be unlocked at level nn and spend resources to improve it. Similar to the major rift. You only unlock level 21 when you reach nn 100. In other words, I defeated the dungeon nn 100, I choose a glyph to unlock, along with gold, material and gem. I improve it to 21. To unlock other glyphs I would have to finish another nn 100.
The issue would come with finding duplicates before you obtained all of your glyphs first. What they need to do is offer more glyph exp avenues. Right now it’s just NMD’s and vaults. Hopefully they add more ways to leveling glyph exp in S4 but I’m doubtful. If they have separate dungeons like the vaults it’ll be the same thing we have now, it’s a good start, but definitely need more options.
I have to disagree with this one. The system now is fine, perhaps retuning the amount of XP at best.
High difficulty levels earns you more xo so in turn you can get more power faster. You shouldn’t get more power simply by getting a random drop by doing the lowest their dungeons.
So what is the idea behind wanting more power. Everything can be killed in seconds now. More power would what kill in a second vs seconds?

someone mentioned a while back leveling the socket on the board instead of the glyphs themselves. that way you could swap out glyphs and they would still be max level if you leveled the socket to max. as opposed to what 22 glyphs there are i think 11 boards. would make leveling everything alot easier/quicker and would make swapping glyphs out for theory crafting easier.
It turns out that, like everything in this game, it’s very locked. Almost everyone uses the same paragon frames and the same glyphs. If we could change some glyph nodes or affixes. I like to customize creation. Because I can’t put distant damage reduction instead of damage coming my way. If you could swap 3 legendary nodes every frame that would give a lot of fun possibilities.
You cant say my idea is overpowered yet as it has no defined definition. I left as X for most of it just for this reason.
But lets see some of it is op. Well Tears of Blood was op. So maybe a new season idea and then works into eternal in a reduced way.
