Good work on the patch. Sorry for the meta-mechanics at play

Same as subject line. The patch notes seem like a step in the right direction. Do they fix everything? No. Is it a good turn compared to the previous patch? Yes.

That being said. The “meta-mechanics.” The game mechanics aren’t my concern for the future of this game. It’s the mechanics that led to the first patch. Commercial strategy decisions that get made in order to cheese the playerbase a little more. “How can we squeeze a bit more play-time out of the players?

The boss hp increase? That should have been in the previous patch instead of the teleport dungeon timer. Not for the players’ benefit. That’s for the shareholder. If they were thinking better during the first patch, that’s what they would have done to increase play-time.

And I don’t play Diablo for the tremendous graphics. It’s not for the totally innovative playstyle. It’s for the ambience and the lore. The lore is okay. But this game is 9 years after RoS, and it feels like someone took less than a month to write the entirety of the campaign and the lore in-between. It’s enjoyable. But sorry, Blizzard, it isn’t that enjoyable.

I don’t want to be cheesed anymore. Thanks for the fun times, Blizz. See ya for Diablo 5.

Is it good enough?.. it’s either an angry mob or silence (angry mob has left).
